i have the same problem. Plus all my forwards goals per game ration is trashed due to this and people quitting at 1-0 or 2-0 down in the first half. First world problems I guess!

I’m not bothering with packs this time, will save them up for a high rated icon. 
 

Got started earlier, 4 games towards a combo of Silver, German and first owned as well as silver beasts at the same time. I’m only playing against the weak squads, can’t be bothered with a slog against the high rated opponents.

That new Origi card looks pretty sexy, so I've got that done. Having him up front instead of Suarez allows me to get Can in as a CDM now, meaning my defence isn't left open due to Gerrard and Barnes just bombing on. 70k is a bit of a gamble given their precarious position in the Europa League, but here's hoping they can do the business tonight. I've also now got Luis Diaz's Headliners card to try out on the LW, with Mane and Barnes dropping to the bench which now means I actually have Liverpool substitutions to bring on instead of everyone just getting knackered.

 

Of course, the postman just dropped Elden Ring in my postbox, so I'm not actually going to be paying with my new team for a while now.

Apparently the next promo is some weird Silver Stars thing, with downgraded players and packs for 71-74 rated players.  Feels pretty weird.  I guess it's unlikely they'll really get much use outside of the usual silver objectives and maybe the Managerial Masterpiece friendly.  It doesn't really feel like something to get excited about!

Yeah agreed. Would’ve been a cool promo back in October mind you! 
 

Content feels a bit flat tbh, RTTF has been a bit of a let down also, especially since we didn’t get a single player SBC, and my team just dumped Dortmund out the Europa league but we don’t have a single card to represent us…

Yeah, it wasn’t a good selection of players for RTTF. I’ve lost coins on every single card I bought, regardless of whether their teams won. Didn’t really do it to make coin though - just wanted to be invested in something to hold my attention. I’ll just keep them all

Silver Stars player pick is genuinely the worst SBC I've ever seen for me.  I have every silver stars player already!

 

I reckon the 71-74 triple upgrade is legit though.  Would be a bit of a grind, but for the price of a load of bronze fuckers you could work towards some of the league SBC's.  You're not exactly risking much at 600 coins a pop!

I’m not really any use when it comes to investment advice, but I would imagine this is a very difficult promotion to make profitable. On the one hand, I like it for that, but on the other it’s a strange point in the season to do it and gives you no reason to open packs.

How were the rest of you finding the connection earlier on?  I put it on about midday.  Started a game on 25ms ping (yeah right), it went to 100ms as soon as it started and then fluctuated between 100ms and 200ms.  The game was literally unplayable.  I'd say it was me but during the week its usually fine between 25ms and 40ms.  Playing this game at the weekend is just torture.

I've found recently that the delay has made it unplayable during the week, too. It got better for a short period after Christmas, but since Battlefield launched in November the performance has been patchy at best.

That silver triple upgrade is my favourite SBC so far. I’m going to do hundreds! It’s a grinder’s paradise

 

 If they’re going to add those silver objectives every day, you’d be crazy not to wait for the regular silver stars and just get them all at once. Same with the squad battles ones. Fuck doing those daily - no point

That silver friendly with a limited number per day is absolutely the worst thing I’ve played, by the way. Everyone, and I mean everyone, I’ve played has done every SBC and objective. People disconnect if you get a penalty. If you’re 1 up and they equalise, they immediately quit. No early quitting. Just dreadful.

I have to agree, I don't know what is causing it but silver lounge and silver objective stuff just now is the stuff of nightmares.  I went 9 and 4 in fut champs, went to silver lounge to look at the objectives and the players there were ten times harder.  The level just now is ridiculous.

The sterling silver friendly is so poisonous that I’m getting people messaging me at the start of games to tell me they don’t need any more wins, then go on to obliterate me. They’ve basically killed silver stars for the rest of the season. Such a shame
