I had Adama Troare between the two screenshots. My god I missed him last night, Best is fun and all but Adama is a different cut, I am going to have to pick him up again and bring Best off the bench.

 

Other than that, really happy with how my team has shaped up! Ruben Dias, Chiesa and Barella were some of my favorite gold players in the early days, so I'm happy to have there best versions. (Bar POTY Dias.)

Todays the day, by hook or by crook I'll have prime Dalglish at some point today. I just have one 88 squad to do for him, I was hoping to get some good fodder in rivals rewards this morning but it was all terrible. I've listed my entire transfer list, and I'll keep listing players in my club to minimise the impact of shelling out the 300k required, I'm at about 200k now and I'm desperate to keep the rest of my team as is, apart from Litmanen who has already gone.

 

I have to say, I'm enjoying the game more now I've taken a step back from the grind of weekend league and committed myself to a Liverpool team. I know it's a pure cringe marketing slogan that I should be (and usually am) embarrassed by, but This Means More!

Ended up doing Ben Yedder as I didn’t have to spend any coin. Think I might get rid of Messi, as he’s been in my team for a while. I’ll try to sell pretty much everyone I can to raise some funds. Thinking of going with TOTY De Bruyne and FS Tchouemeni in a 4-2-2-2 to make the chemistry work. Going to need to magic another 500k from somewhere though!

FUT Champs definitely feels rewarding right now. I got rank 4 which gives a good coin reward (50k), and although I didn't get any special cards, I got some 87-85 fodder which is selling high at the moment, as well as the 3 totw cards from the pack. I got enough from it to re-buy Messi, which in previous years would be unimaginable at this point in the cycle without pulling a tradeable meta card.

Well, I got the transfers done. There are 2 problems. The first is that loads of people quit at 0-0 just on sight of the team. This tends to leave you with only good opponents who know that the team is only as good as the player. The other issue is that, even with the best passing stats in the game, passing is still all over the place. I like the look of Tchouameni though. His positioning seems to be top notch.
