Trying to grab a position change card and the moment they appear on a search they are all instantly sold. I’ve been trying for almost an hour and it keeps happening. There has to be some kind of bullshit going in there no? Can’t be that many cunts all hovering over the BIN button when these things are already at max price.

I'm not enamoured by a lot of these cards tbh.  There are a lot of 3 and 4 star skill and weakfoot players.  Thats just not good enough just now.  There have been too many other promos that have caused a lot of power creep.  There are any number of 87 and 88 rateds about.

TotY is over, and thanks to me doggedly putting all untradeable dupes into League Upgrades, I've opened over 250 packs (worth over 5 million coins) and still have 93 packs left.

 

Here's some stats:

TotY players packed: Donaruma Untradeable x 2

Toty HM: None

Hero Player Pick: Mario Gomez (from him, Mostovoia and Dudek)

Icon Swaps Base, Mid or Prime Pick (17 Tokens): Prime Nesta or RM Makelele

SBCs Completed: Dest

SBCs part completed: Maldini (5/9 sbcs), Kaka (4/9 sbcs), Mid Icon Upgrade (1/4), Mid or Prime Icon Upgrade (1/4).

Most expensive Tradeable card packed: Jadon Sancho (19k)

Funniest pack: 85 x 10 Player pack - TotY Donaruma, Allisson, Lloris, Navas, Gulasci, Sommer... Aka The Goalkeeper Pack.

 

Starting Balance 1,610,000

Ending Balance 1,623,965 (Had to purchase high rated cards to complete Icon SBCs).

 

 

 

That's... that's shit right? Like, you shouldn't moan about shit pack luck cos no-one cares, but that's miserable isn't it?

I’d think he would work there but definitely excels more in a central role. I have 34 goals in 34 games at striker but when called upon he is good at getting the ball back due to his size and strength (despite what seems like poor tackling stats).

Maybe there is something in the EA ether, the most stacks you got got to open, the more hindered your drop rate is. Your probably flush enough not to worry too much about faffing around with Dupe, inlets they are like 86+ kind of leads onto my next Q...

 

Question for all! I imagine a lot of us did quite a few Prem and Ligue 1 upgrades in the chase for TOTS players... did anybody get any from those packs? Or an Honourable mention?

 

In other news... I got bored waiting for Butes and I was too poor to tackle Kenny so I did an Icon upgrade.

Yeah it's not one a of the big guns but still, pretty bloody pleased with that! I can't not drop him into CB (his CB rating is 93 I think), so I've bought honourable Mention Alaba for an ingame position swap to CDM.

@Steelyi did about 60 of the Ligue 1 / Prem upgrades (a small sample size really) and packed one walk out so I stopped. The pain of packing Matip, Hojberg and Icardi duplicates over and over was driving me insane. Plus, it’s fair to say, I used my luck up already so wasn’t expecting lightning to strike again.

Got 16 wins this weekend! Also Bruno from my packs which was a nice 30k, so along with the 75k for the finish not bad at all.

 

I usually play all my games on Friday, there was a noticeable difference playing 7 or 8 on Sunday. A shitty TOTW probably helped as well.

 

Still trying to work out where to go with my team, I'm considering saving for Hakimi and playing him alongside Cancelo in midfield. Cancelo is so fucking good.

 

It's so weird having a near-TOTS level team in February. The power curve is crazy this year. They'll need to make Futties 110-rated, I think.

Cancelo is indeed amazing at CM.

 

I’ve just sold him though as wanted to get Ferran Torres and Rudiger in and was just struggling to link everyone. 
 

I’ve went with this for now playing 4222 in game, Dest moving to LB and Acuna to CDM. 
 

Also been meaning to try out Raul for ages (500k!!) but I’ve kept Mbappe and will go back to him if Raul is ass.

Jude Bellingham. Wow BTW. Best player I've used in a long long time. Composure and passing is absolutely top notch.

I've given Future Stars Konate a quick go tonight in an attempt to finally move on from Kimpembe. He seems alright, but in order to make the chemistry work I've had to drop Donnarumma. I've gone with Alisson for now, but he's full dog shit, I can't believe just how bad he is. I'm going to give Ederson and Maignan a go to see if they can step up, but if not it looks like I'm back to Kimpembe. 

 

Edit: actually, I forgot about Mendy. I'll try him first.
