Also I was clean through with my TOTY Benzema and even though I only pressed shoot he did an auto lob on the keeper and scored a belter. Never seen that before.

You could switch to a 442 to make the links work, then switch it up in game to your preferred formation.

Cheers. TOTY Hakimi would be funny as that's who I sold!  Seriously though, Wildcard Fabinho for Aubameyang?  Wont he be a little clunky?

Ok, on paper and based on the ratings I took a significant step down across the board. :lol:

 

But I think I fell foul of using players based on ratings rather than how the player actually plays.

 

Kane was honking it up, though off the bench he has actually been pretty prolific! David has just been so much more fun and productive.

 

Dropping the two wardrobes in midfield. Originally it was Rice & Savic but switched to two more tenacious nippy players in Savanier and IF Barella 86. (And then Essien showed up in a Mid Icon swap, so I had to move Barella on, but he was bloody good I'll miss him!, high hopes for Essien.)

 

Van Dijk & TAA for Magloire & Lowe. More pace. It stopped me getting broken on so much, Van Dijk is great in the box, but moves like a bloody truck when you are tracking back.

 

Formation wise, I tried the 442 and 41212 Narrow, no joy, the narrow was good in defence but I was just a mess going forward.

 

Ended up using Ovvys 4222 and since then I think I won something like 10/13.

Possibly, I've never used him, but isn't Aubameyang a little clunky? You could also go with any icon striker there to make it work.

Na Aubameyang is insanely good for the way I play.  Scores hat tricks for laughs.  Could be worth a punt though.

I'm a huge fan of my TOTY Donnaruma.

 

Absolute beast in nets. I know it's the lowest TOTY pull but he's been very very good for me.

So I just rebuilt my team to fit in toty David. He is absolutely insane. Rapid and finishes everything. I just won five in a row and made div one. Here are three rippers from one of the games. This guy had full Toty squad pretty much and I beat him 7-2 with the 4321.

 

Oddly enough if I just sub WW hazard and RTTK politano on as cm both are really good....

I'm genuinely over the moon to pack him. 

Just... EA know how to piss all over my parade. "Here's a quarter of a million coin card that has zero worth because we just gave it to you untradeable". If I was due two TotYs (having never packed any in any fifa before), why not *any* other TotY? Why not save one till next year, or team of the season, or... ahh you get me.

 

Gotta admit, it's pretty fucking funny though.

Prices are creeping up on toty, be interesting to see what Thursday brings.   

 

The only one I think not up a chunk is kdb and tbh I don't like him in game.  I feel he just doesn't get involved in the game much, which is strange because he's a high high work rate player.

Any ideas rllmuk hive mind? I can put varane in at CB to get kante up to 10 chem and fofana on 8, is 8 acceptable? Or I guess I could cheat and sell savanier and put an icon in. 

 

Secondly, are my chem styles ok? I just pick them at random!

 

I play 4321, with 3 cm
