I'l keep an eye on him. For the time being I'll stick my 87 IF version in there.  Could do with a better keeper than Allison, but apparently SS Mendy is shite after the latest patch.  There's a chance he might get an honourable mention, though, so maybe that's the way to go.  It looks like Shaw is going to be an objective, with stats lower than originally suggested.  Fine for a freebie but not really that great considering the other options.

It just dumps so many packs on the market that if you're already getting 3 100k packs you ha e to take untradeable a mot of people take tradea le div rivals rewards.

Any suggestions on what I should do with the gaps in this? I have a Serie A triangle (Vidal, Skriniar and Cuadrado) there at the moment but want to change it up a bit. I have 700k just now but could probably get close to 1.75m with players that I can sell off. 
 

I like a 4222 in game so with Renato being the box to box I’d like the other CDM to be a rock.

It's not massively different to what you have, but Cordoba is by far the best CB I've used so far, and HL Barella is supposed to be very good. I've also been using mid Cech to make my chemistry work, and found him to be better than Donnarumma anyway, so you could give him a try too.

I did think about Cordoba a while ago but was put off a bit by his height, presuming that’s not really an issue then?

 

One thing I have considered is to keep in Cuadrado, get the 88 versions of Desailly and  Matthaus then switch their positions in game.

I don't think height matters too much in the current meta, but he's got 99 jumping (I think?) which mitigates some of his shortness.

6 wins in a row in a late storm to div 2. Made it in time for rewards. I bought regular varane for 20k to upgrade from kounde, what a defensive machine he is. I prefer him already. 

 

Kante is by far the best upgrade though. Just intercepts everything.

I wasn't happy with IF Cancelo so I bit the bullet and paid a high price for his TOTY.  Haven't used him yet, but hoping he'll come in handy for the weekend qualifying.  It looks like there might be packs incoming for Rulebreakers, Winter Wildcards and Signature Signings.  Possibly a good idea to shift on any players you have in those categories if you aren't using them.  Unsurprisingly, Ronaldo is the 12th man for TOTY.  Boring stuff.

Any recommendations for RM? Dembele is alright but finishing is too poor at this point in the game. Should I save for base Messi? 

 

Linekar is ridiculous. Once he's clean through its pretty much a goal.

Just buy this guy and sub him on. Really nice card as 5*/5* and he has 97 attack positioning which is noticeable in-game. He’s 18k approx.

Yes, get base Messi. He's the best player I've used this year and I've used Mid Cryuff and Mbappe.

I find Messi isn't amazing out wide but incredible at CAM, so unless you reposition him in game he might not be worth the coins. If you switch Larsson and Fekir there, you could have Corona on 7 chem as he'd then have links to both of your icons.

I've used Messi at RM since I got him and he's maintained 1.0 combined goals/assists per game since I got him. I use 442, though, so YMMV depending on how you use him.

I’ve been playing Messi as a CAM or ST in a 4222 and he’s unreal, seems to be able to get away from any defender with some quick direction changes. Found him better than Neymar (who is also really good) but since I don’t do a huge amount of skills I did expect this. 
 

In other news, Prime Socrates is a huge icon upgrade on the baby Stoichkov I’ve had since October. Using him a a target man up top the strength opens up so many opportunities to bang in shots from distance or play one or the other attackers in.

Socrates is an elite striker, I’d put him in the Cantona and Eusebio bracket.

After questioning varane I'll probably do it as ive knocked out about 300k of upgrades and I am particularly fodder rich so it's somewhere for it to go.

I’m thinking that Rudiger might be an option over Varane, but it depends how much he costs. The honourable mention stats look decent, and I’m sort of fed up with having Varane every year.

Yeah, not unexpected. I will see how the fodder goes, but I’m in no hurry to do him. I have fairly high hopes for my 85+ x10, but I think we all know I shouldn’t!

I'm thinking I'll just throw all my fodder at him for the next few weeks. Realistically, there aren't going to be too many better CBs at any point in the game, and his links should be easy to work around for any team I end up with.

Yep, 30 days is a long time in fifa, just take your time with him.
