Looking at WW Morales and Alessandri in detailed stats they actually look better than Neymar apart from the 5 star weak foot and very slightly on dribbling so as sad as it sounds I might just have to use him as a sub

Any version with a 4-3-3 really, but switching to 4-3-2-1 at the moment so the wingers are LF and RF.

I don’t use skills at all. I think I’m going to get very little out of Ginola unless I start using them. Is there a decent video that focuses on when to use skills as well as how? The stuff I’ve seen in the past seems to be far too rapid in the coverage, rather than going into some level of detail.

I’ve found “the guide” on YouTube to be pretty decent for tutorials that show you how to do stuff and just as importantly, when.

 

This one is good, fairly comprehensive.

I'm after some CDM advice - this is my current line-up, switches to 4231 in game with 2 CDMs and 3 CAMs. I'm looking at swapping either Verratti or Guendouzi out so I can get Salah on full chemistry, with the caveat being that Verratti would be coming out for someone purely defensive and Guendouzi would come out for a box to box all rounder - essentially, swapping like for like. I have around 300k to spend, I'm currently looking at either mid Gerrard or mid Ballack in for Guendouzi, or Kante in for Verratti but I'm not able to figure out how to make that work without Kante taking a drastic hit to his chemistry. Does anyone have any suggestions?

So at the moment I’m guessing Fekir is CM and upfront you have Larsson with Morales and Alessandrini either side? Neymar would replace Morales or Alessandrini?

I rarely use skills, so only listen to me after others, but I also like Aussie Fifa for bitesized simplicity on when to use certain skills.

Yup. I have several very useful untradeable players in my club that could also be utilised (Varane, AAA, De Jong) but nothing that I can see that works for Neymar. Its almost like EA have assessed that I am quite flush on non-Ligue 1 options so have thrown me Neymar in an attempt to have me scraping and spending to get him in

Changed things up a bit more.

 

 

@Keiths_Dad, you’re right about gold Neymar being more special than his already amazing stats suggest. I’ve got him as right CAM in a 4222 and now I’ve got the feel for how he plays I’m creating so many more chances. 
 

Vidal is still a top performer in my team, he’s so good defensively which frees up Renato to be a box to box centre mid. I’m slowly starting to find Stoichkov to struggle against top defenders but until I can get someone that fits for chemistry he’s staying (play left CAM in game). Missing WW Spinnazola a bit at at left back as he’s definitely better than TOTGS Cancelo, who is still no slouch. Having Cuadrado and Neymar on the same side in games has been great, 5 star skiller link up

how much coins have you got to work with?

 

also could you live with one or two players on 7/8 chemistry? 
 

It would mean upgrades to the right side of your Defense, more steel and defensive presence in midfield instead of Fekir, and accommodating Neymar. Personally I’d say it’s gonna be worth it.

@Keiths_Dad just saw Savanier won Ligue 1 POTM, might be a viable option over his HL. 82 and 84 rated squad.

If I sell WW Morales about 170k. Could stretch that to about 200k if I sell Cancelo and a few others. That’s of course with a view to the below…

 

 

Guendouzi would go to CDM and is perhaps a weak link but it does retain a lot of what I have plus improve that right side of defence a bit. No doubt there are things that could be tweaked with this like Guendouzi’s tasty WW card but this feels about the best I can do if I want to maintain the max chem.

 

Of course Asensio is only in there because I already have him and he isn’t terrible, but that would also need improved. Oh and thanks to @Steelyfor the inspiration on Pau Torres. I also have unreadable Varane, De Jong and AAA but can’t see anything where they could be used in a variation of this.

Kante is a huge improvement over Verratti, I should have done it ages ago. I stuck with Guendouzi tonight, but I've just bought Savanier to give him a quick go. His stats are slightly better on his HL card so if I do stick with him, I won't bother with the POTM.

Larsson 86 card. I’m biased but before I upgraded to his prime he was about 1.2 goals per game in over 130 games. His prime is even deadlier.

Here it is. Not entirely happy with Asensio at RW but limited options having to bring in a RW rather than a striker on the wing due to Neymar on the left. I’m sure he will be worth it.

 

Casemiro goes to CDM and the rest is pretty much as it is. I should have about 70k in the bank when Morales WW sells so cost of change almost completely covered.

I'm using Prime Lineker (250k but will almost certainly be cheaper this weekend) and he's a fantastic poacher. If you want a pure goalscorer, you can't get better without spending hundreds of thousands more.

 

If you want a more rounded striker, mid Van Persie is also aces. Very different work rates though with M/L.

 

There are rumours of a flashback Kane SBC coming this weekend, so he may be even better for you.

 

And Ben Yedder was the best gold striker I used. His IF may be brilliant. But will utterly tank in price over the next week, so hold off for now.
