Player picks for me were basically the same options for both.  Acerbi the best offered both times.  Is there anything to dump rare golds into these days?  I've got so many untradeable packs at the moment that leave me with tons of dupes.

Merry Christmas all! I've treated myself to a new centre back to celebrate, my team now below, 4231 in game with Barnes as the centre CAM, Gerrard and Rice at CDM.

 

Honestly, there's not a single duffer in there, with the possible exception of Ramsdale but he'll have to do for now. I'm properly impressed with Trent, and Rice is pretty great, especially after the upgrade. I'm building my tokens up for Rooney now from swaps, which will allow me to switch Barnes for one of his other cards and get the IF Sterling for the right wing.

Couldn’t tell you. It has no deal breaking flaws. He’s 5’11”, lean body type, 4* / 4*.

 

He doesn’t really link to any other super meta cards so that’s the only thing I can see. 
 

i think supply of the WW cards is pretty high, too,

Merry Christmas everyone!! I hope EAnta Claus was good to you all and you enjoyed your FUT Christmas present because we have been so good and loyal this year filling his pockets… oh wait, that’s right, nobody got anything as a free present because that would just be fucking madness.

 

Felt my team stagnating a little so have freshened things up with the starting 11 below. I have a 4-1-3-2 initially to get full chem then switch to this. Not actually played with it yet but CR7 being in my FUT team shows just how bonkers things are this year with the apparent GOAT’s being available to any muppet with a handful of coins. Clearly I haven’t actually bought CR7 yet as not going to get to play again until tomorrow or tonight at a push, so letting his price trickle down before I take the plunge.

K, I'm never buying another fifa.  There is one of the winter tokens in a pack that is 500 points or 95k.  It's so low priced in points that it's trying to get people to buy points   its effectively pay walling it.  This is a new low.

Hahahaha, fucking brilliant. That’s a level of cuntery I couldn’t even imagine EA hitting. The fact all the wildcard rewards are untradeable is bad enough for me. I get why untradeable stuff is a thing but this year especially it feels like almost every SBC reward is for untradeable stuff.

 

On another note. How much do EA love Zlatan? His FB card a few years back was immense and now this market resetting Winter Wildcard is even better. Folk with millions are going to go bonkers for him!

I have a ton of untradeable stuff and a lot of it won't touch my team.  Even new stuff like I packed ww Tierney but I don't play prem so useless to me.  I did do aouar to be fair and he's good but tbh I still play fekir and I've struggled to find a better plYwr to put instead of him.  I might try alessandrini in his place.

I got Allessandri in one of the winter reward packs but his league is like throwing a grenade into my max chem and I NEED max chem, even if it’s just to remove that as an excuse when things aren’t working :) Fekir will take something special to be replaced, especially now he has started scoring free kicks. 2 in the last 2 games from the little magician.

 

I suppose a good thing from this (especially that Zlatan card) is base CR7 value seems to continue sinking so once he cracks that 300k mark im going in and will then be very happy with my team for a good while.

I had his Flashback card and prime Larsson as my front 2 a few years ago and it was sensational. So much fun. But his FB was in a SBC so set value of a few hundred thousand. That WW card is going to stupid stupid money. Still showing as extinct so that suggests he is going to be going for over 3 million :lol:

I bought the stupid pack, coins though, I'm not putting real money into packs. 86 Felipe was my TOTW, and the rest of the pack was shite.

 

My 85 x 10 pack from the winter swaps was a bit better though, Van Dijk, winter Florenzi and winter Guendouzi all in there - no English players though, so literally unplayable.
