I'm shit. I play at a mid Div 5 level. I don't play weekend league but really enjoy the friendlies. 

 

In context there is a community rule that who ever scores first wins in icon swaps. When I did the Icon swaps, about 90% of games went this way.

Youl be surprised. Gooner tells me I'm utter shit at FIFA and I used to win more than I lost on FUT. 90 percent of players are 12 year old kids with sweats

Matchmaking is based on skill, so even if you are dog shit, you'll play other people that are dog shit as well.

 

You could even tank your divisions ranking if you were so inclined, as the objectives are generally done in friendlies which won't affect your skill rating at all.

I've had my eye on base Barnes all week, waiting for the right time to buy, but it just hasn't come up. I just finished the swaps objectives and got my base icon pack - fucking Barnes!

 

With that in place, my Liverpool squad is up and running, my Barnes money going into Van Dijk and Trent. Now I just need to grind for further icons and special cards. That's how they line up in game, all on full chemistry.

Just did the three 83 upgrades, utter tosh.

 

I finally ran out of luck, gold players and money and this is how my final team and bench sits.

 

I pumped in a fair old wack into Ligue 1 packs, can't believe I didn't even pack a Mbappe TOTY. What a scam. :unsure:

I'm really enjoying working through the Icon Swaps Squad Battle games. Finished the 1 owner one pretty easy and now on to the Silver one. Made a squad of SPFL players and walked the first 2 games. Hagi, Aribo and Roofe really should be Gold cards. The jump to World Class wasn't as severe as i thought it would be. 

I think i'll leave the online stuff to next season, fresh start and all that.

I was told the other day by a mate (who was taking 'lessons' from a pro player that he met in a FUT trading Discord...) that if you quit your Weekend League matches, it doesn't count towards your matchmaking.  So if you won 4, then matchmaking pitted you against another 4-0 player who took a lead and you quit....the next time you were matched with anyone it would be against a 4-0 player.  Not someone that had just lost their last game.

 

I never knew this!  I always quit!!  Not enough time in the day at weekends...I bloody won't now. Just put the controller down and wait 10 minutes.

also you can combine those squad battles tokens (for example 11 first owned silvers (2 tokens) or 11 Liga Nos UCL cards (2 tokens).

This is true can confirm.

Is it my connection or are the servers just awful at the moment?  I played a few games from Thursday to yesterday in div rivals and the connection monitor thing was like a disco.  That's not even in champs.  I tried connecting to the router and still the same.

Personally have found both gameplay and connection seems to have suffered with the patch last Wednesday.

I've played about 10 games with him now, he's good, but he's not worth 400k. I haven't tried Kante either, so I can't really compare them. I'd give it a miss, only idiots focusing solely on Liverpool players should bother themselves.
