Not quite sure how that calculates! I only have 500k in my bank.

 

The rest is on players and investments, I dont even have a proper team at the moment. And only 3 players of note. Son, Gini and De Jong. The other players are bottom of the barrel but high rated players like Kroos, Silva, Di Maria, Handanovic.

 

I have too much money tied up in Kokes which I bought for 4.5 and now can't shift for profit.

 

I've had a couple of good news stories: mainly Nacho Fernandes who dropped below 6k the morning after the extinct players came into play and then he went back up to 9k, I went in quite heavy on him. Tomori at the same time went to below 5.5k and then sold for 7.5.

 

I had a filter on shadow prem Brazil CBs, bought any Fernandinhos and Thiago Silvas that got listed for under 10k and sold for 12.5 that was OK.

 

I've been flipping Shadow and Hunter cards, buying at 2 to 3 and selling for 3 to 4k to lazy buyers, because I'm not listing them at the lowest possible prices and they still seem to be shifting quite regularly.

 

The single biggest factor will be the Kante and Bammy I got in my opening SBCs, along with Richarlison, Mahrez, Rousilon, Kaylor Navas which gave me a mega start. Kante and Bammy sold for 700k alone. I then bought Son at 300, sold for 350 then bought back at 300 mainly because I missed him. :lol:

 

After building up my team I posted on the previous pages I did spunk some real money on packs! I spent about £40. Im not usually able to buy points because I split the cost of the US version of the game with another forumite, but then play the game on a UK account, which makes points unavailable to me, I dont know why but I am glad it does because I am weak and I would waste more money. In my points packs I got about 3 boards and zero walk outs, it was rather upsetting. Got a lot of high value consumables though and a club full of shite players for SBCs, so it wasn't an utter waste is what I keep trying to tell myself.

 

After that I've played some Online Drafts I got 3 wins which got me Haaland (pre TOTW), won my next one which got me AWB. The one I won my team was bloody crap! But good lord I had Richarlison upfront and he was insane, I can see why he is so pricey for an 81 card. I played Real Mendy at CB aswell, which makes me want to use full backs as CBs full time, that sort of pace in the centre was incredibly useful, basically let me play all my games on attacking.

 

And now EA play Trail has come to an end and we are here! Thats the story of my Fifa life so far. :wacko:

If he was just a normal card rated 86, he would probably be going for a lot more than that though.

 

Ignoring the fact he is untradable. Plus he is the best LW for Spain and La Liga now, the price is probably about right i recon.

 

Not that I am planning on doing him like.

True, he does look decent, just very high requirements for so soon into the game. I guess if he was premier league with those stats they’d make him even more expensive.

The cost of certain players is frightening and not in the 'shit look how expensive he is' kind of way. I packed Griezman off the back of the Nations Hybird SBC packs and thought I was laughing my way to over 200k.... 102k he sold for and he is going for less than that now. Its great in some ways because the Serie A team I have put together has cost me probably a third of what it would have for that kind of team this time last year or in 2019 but its still madness.

 

Working my way towards Larsson as usual, which is going to be a lot easier this year with the starting value of his 86 and 87 cards both being so much less than he started in previous years.

Had a slow start this year but just packed Sissoko, Gabriel Jesus and IF Renato Sanches. I'll keep Sissoko but the 150K for the other two will come in handy!

 

Any opinions on OTW Bale? Think he might get a few upgrades this year so considering investing now.

I packed him in my Hybrid leagues SBC packs and sold today, 350k was too much to turn down, i've got an untradeable Vinicius Jr who i just bring on upfront for Osimhen and he does the job.

Ive been watching his value fluctuate daily, had been planning on waiting until closer to the weekend league starting and see what I get from rivals rewards.

He's definitely special on so many levels though bud, so if you enjoy him i think you're safe for quite a while, i don't think Werner is a real alternative, he's not the same in terms of off the ball movement or dribbling and doesn't have the threat from crosses either, so he should hold or even go up more, i just wanted to build a better team from the back for fut champs.

One of my next aims is to get Allan into the midfield alongside Sissoko and Ndidi. I’ll be able to raise some more coins by selling De Gea, who has been poor considering his stats, Nick Pope will be back in for a bit. 
 

Im on 1100 fut champs points so won’t be playing it this weekend, maybe the week after when I’ve had a chance to bolster my team a bit more.

I've gone for a Serie A squad, the downsides are Ronaldo is the only elite striker, there's not a single good right back and Theo Hernandez is pretty average for his stats as a right back but.... Koulibaly & Manolas for less than Joe Gomez costs, OTW Tonali absolutely epic, Nainggolan is back to his imperious best, Mertens is as good as ever.

Keeper wise I’ve only used Pope and De Gea. Sold him after some more flapping at shots so Pope is back in.

Have you tried Martinez up front? I think he is tremendous!!
