70 packs of disappointment saved up for this week. Last year I went all in on the forwards on the first day and within  20mins had mad remorse. Should be next Monday before the whole team is in packs? That's the plan this year. Anybody else save up their packs?

119 so far. However that's everything, so there's a couple of single players packs, and also includes the Championship and Eredivisie SBCs, so a good few silver packs in there.

Won't open any till all players are in packs, so depends on what SBCs come out in the next few days to see what the final number will be.

 

Almost certainly taking untradables for Div rivals rewards too.

 

If they're all in packs on Thursday, I'd be up for partying up with anyone who's saved packs too. We did it back on 17 I think, and it was quite a good laugh.

Will do, I'm thinking he will be replacing Dembele he's just really average as a CAM and isn't good enough to take a striker position from Neymar or Mbappe, but Suarez could probably slot in at CAM or switch with Neymar.

Had to be done at that price, I packed Diego Godin and Totw Sidibe in the small rare gold players pack from the 84 rated la liga req sbc of suarez.

 

i’ve also flipped some cards this evening, bought a Patrick vieira (88) for 1.7mil and sold for 1850000. Sounds a lot but that’s only 57k profit, had quite a bit of joy buying toty nominee (5 or 6 flipped) Kante’s on 299/300k open bids and flipped them all for between 325 and 330k.

Again, tempted by Suarez, especially as the SBC fodder is so low right now, but my god, my list of untradables that I dont use is starting to burst at the seams.

 

And I dont really need to be collecting many more for first owned objectives anymore... Ok maybe just a few more!

 

Did everyone else vote for Ronaldo, just so they could have a Ronaldo loan card for 1 game? Yeah, me too.

 

FYI the Neuer loan is worth doing for future first owned objectives, Ive found loans in general are good for these if you arnt interested in taking the player in full.

After WL not having Ter Stegen in the team just feels like a disadvantage. Will sell Zidane and get Vieria like Gooner, just not sure if the 88 is worth the extra 800k? But either should help out more box to box. Santi is just a beast, Dembele's a Wizard, Di Maria has a wicked shot and good skills for that 1 match in 10 I actually use them, Mbappe, Suarez and the other icons speak for themselves.

 

Semedo though, just too weak imo. Fast and good with the ball, but he needs to win it back too, which he struggles with even with Sentinel Chem.

I wouldn’t bother with Vieira @Ballzzie Kante will win the ball just as reliably. Scream Firmino is the best midfielder on the game that isn’t prime Gullit.

If you are getting Vieira I personally find the 88 to be the best version.

 

Better work rates, faster, better agility etc.

 

The 86 is not particularly great, the prime is way overpriced.

I have POTM Lewa but didnt like him when I had a Bunders team, so hes been in storage, only comes out for Objectives.

Suarez has that secret sauce though, one of the few players like Ronaldo who’s AI movement just makes him pop up in space in the very tight games.

I've had a look at Suarez, and while the Liverpool connection is tempting me, his stats are very similar to Griezmann's, who can be had for 50k these days. I'll leave it.

 

On the Icon front, I'm on holiday now having done none of the objectives, which means I'm out of the running for Del Piero. I'm looking at either Koeman or Campbell now, none of the other options are particularly exciting, and I can't be arsed grinding every other objective to get Nakata from a mid icon pack.
