I have come to the conclusion I will never score a corner or free kick. Plus goal kicks are shite and I want to play from the back rather than knocking it to my tiny strikers.

 

Soooo 3 areas I could massively improve on and possibly help me create better chances.

 

- How can I 100% guarantee goal kicks go to my defender and quickly before the striker can act? 

- what corner routines do people have, is it best creating one(how?!) where players line up and I can pass it to someone free on the edge of the box?

- FKS, I’m going to try that one where people get 2 players and do a tiny tap forward which gives a decent chance edge of the box. How would I do that?

When I take corners, I choose near post, stick the cursor just south of the 6 yard box and give it about 3 boxes of power. Now I have VVD, Rio and Aubamy, all good in the air. I also do the bang down headers (L1 and R2) and try to get it as a timed hit. They don't always go in, but more so than any other way I've tried

Goal kicks are unfathomably difficult.

-Kick to the full back.

-If he's marked, kick to the full back on the far side.

-If he's marked as well, hold RB to call defenders close, then pass to one.

-If they're still being marked, you can do a chip pass to one of your CBs and head it straight back to your keeper.

 

Corners:

I've yet to score one this fifa. I now always pass short, then look to do a driven pass to the guy on the edge of the box. My main goal on corners is to avoid getting countered.

Tiny random thing: SC Heerenveen in the Eredvisie only have one striker, a bronze rare called Odgaard. There's also (as I type) less than 3 pages of him on the market, which means he doesn't get packed much.

 

Probably worth grabbing one and throwing it into your club, because whenever the Eredivisie League SBC drops, he'll be worth nuff coin.

I wouldn't pay more than 500 coins for him.

Also prices for 85's went up last night, they were BIN for 15k a piece, although its calmed down now, still likely to get good coinage for them, especially the ones used the SBC solutions on Futbin etc.

 

84's too seemed to have gone up.

Sanchez and Mendy are both fairly popular SBCs I imagine. 

 

The supposed Futmas cards tonight are Shaqiri (Y tho.) and Vidal. I really hope Vidal gets one, I thought his 84 was great, so thats getting done providing it isnt to expensive. Plus it a strong link to my never to be dropped US Pique!

Been winning loads lately in div 7/6, well on my way to 5. Watching some YouTube vids on defending and passing has helped loads and I’ve got my settings sorted with player selection and pass lock, it only took 50 games to feel comfortable.

 

This upload shows it was a tight game, 1-0 up they countered well down the wing I couldn’t get hold of my defender properly so ran to the line to clear then up the pitch to score luckily. You make your own luck. 

I sussed his game early on and the last passage of play I just kept the ball for ages, his team always back up and he chased me around until gaps appeared. I’m not usually a patient player but it’s paying off loads. Keep the ball and gaps open up almost every time (in division 6).

BorasLegend is the best I've seen by quite some way. He does some instructional videos, but just watching his gameplay regularly embeds the sorts of things I should be doing in my consciousness. Whether or not I have the skill to do them is anther matter.

All the youtubers are claiming Futmas Renato Sanchez to be an amazing card, and he's only 40k, AND I have Neymar so that Ligue 1 link is useful...

 

But I also have Flashback Paulinho untradeable and Futmas Vidal is coming and baby Gullit is under 1m and TOTY is coming...

 

 

Cheers lads think I've just talked myself out of doing him.
