I'd sell but I just love selling. I'd sell and then never look at his price again in fear it would just upset me.

 

Isnt your team a bit good already? Ive never understood the demand for these sort of cards, I mean he is clearly better than his 89 ST and but his 90 card LW is only marginally behind, does that warrant the extra 1.5M cost. :wacko:

 

Depends on you though, how happy you are with the rest of the team, if you are happy with them, then give him a go! If you can see areas for improvement with 2M cash injection, then sell and spread the joy.

 

Curious as to how the market will react to these expensive cards with Messi inbound tomorrow mind. Also with it being Thursday, do the very expensive cards tend to increase after rewards? :unsure:

 

(He is the kind of guy who will get an upgrade sooner rather than later as well, so this may not be his best card for a very long time...)

Mate he is awesome, and thats me using him that cant even utilise him properly.

 

As for selling, its up to you, hes getting lower each day as people are selling to get funds for the Messi POTM.

 

I think (and hope) he will go up. There not many on the store and once hes out then I think he will go up, at least until Futmas.

DISCLAIMER: THE BELOW ANALYSIS MAY BE TERRIBLY WRONG.

 

Two questions to ask:

How much higher can he rise?

How much could he fall?

 

First question: At 2.3m he's currently the most expensive non-icon in the entire game, worth more than TotGS Messi.

How much more can a on-icon rise? The highest any non-icon card has been is IF Messi, which was 2.9m when it first appeared. 

3m seems to be a solid ceiling for a non-icon player, a (very quick) scan of Fifa19 prices suggests that only one non-icon, non TOTY card ever made it above 3m, which was Ronaldo's OTW card.

I think it's unlikely he hits 3m though, like I said, that's a ceiling.

 

 

Second question: How much could he fall?

TL:DR A lot.

Looking at Messi's IF again, he was 2.9m on release, but now sits at 1.5m. 

That is in part to a Messi TotGS card and the forthcoming Messi SBC, but there's likely to be more MBappe cards coming too. If he gets a PotM or a ToTY card, we could see a very similar drop.

Plus we have Prime Icons coming in a week. A new R9, Eusebio or even Henry (also french for those links) could drop the Mbappe price. And what if we get a great French striker in the new Icon swaps around the corner? And what if Neymar gets a Futmas ST card next week?

OR.... What of all the above happens? Mbappe will be 1.1m quicker than you could say 'fuck where are my coins'.

 

 

Summary: You might be 100k richer if you hold for two days. You might be 750k poorer if you hold for a week.

 

Or just play with him and forget about the coins.

I've got base Mbappe and he's phenomenal, 69 goals and 25 assists in 50 games, 2.3/2.5mil on top of the 2.5mil I'm sat on basically bank rolls me for the rest of this Fifa so i'll sell, however he was 2.5mil when I looked this afternoon, done the SBC's came back and he was 2.3 mil, so i thought i'd hold for a little bit, I'm concerned about the Messi SBC, but at the same time it might make people panic sell him, and then he will rise sharply after but it might not.

I was hoping once hes out of packs he will go up, and I think he will, if you have the balls to hold, or if coins dont matter much to you.

 

Now I've just convinced myself to hold for a bit.

 

I can't see him going lower than 2 million, at least not for a while. I think the week between this event and Futmus he will go up.

 

2.5 mill and hes gone.

What's a worse feeling to you personally? Losing coins by waiting? Or missing out on coins by selling too early?

And would the good feeling of being 'up' 100-150k worth the risk of the bad feeling of 'losing out' on 200-250k?

 

 

Or are you able to just celebrate having 2m coins, regardless of what he's worth now?

It's late on Wednesday, it's the day before rewards, it's the day before Messi comes out... But even so, there's some fucking cheap cards out there.

The panic is crazy.

 

There's an old Stock trader saying: 'Buy when everyone is selling'.

Gold Mane is 250k, Aguero is under 100k, Griezmann is 110, IF Ben Yedder is under 200k...

 

If you're saving for one of these players.... well how much cheaper do you think they can get?

Rewards day! Always puts an extra spring in my step, knowing that my Weekend League and Fut Rivals efforts are about to be rewarded with many o pack. :hat:

 

Of course I got nothing. :hmm: Okay my red pick was Depay, which I class as could have been worse, and could come in useful for Ligue 1 first owned objectives, and thats about it.

 

Beyond that De Vrij was the best player I packed. :facepalm:

 

Oh well, onto the next one. :omg:
