Yes! Buying a Liverpool icon as a Liverpool fan must be pinicle FUT, there is so bloody many of them to choose from though, spoilt for choice. 

 

I'm getting the feeling about these types of players. I'm eyeing up a fair few, with Mbappe really calling to me. I want to take the jump on him but don't want to jump to soon. But then again, after the icon SBC made a lot more people rich. How many other dick heads are swimming about like scrooge mcduck with hoards of gold to be spent on Friday.

 

In other more Boring news, I gave icon Sanchez 8 games last night before I took the plunge on him. Glad I did, he wasn't all that, he felt a little heavy considering his stats. Nothing special really, I'm holding out for Butra now. Who is about the closest thing to Juninho you can get, so I'll just pretend he is a Middlesbrough Icon. :lol:

edit: quick sell is around 640-660 so this is right. 

 

Just bought 45 la liga players rated 80-81 for 650.

Oh no, I haven't really tried it with rares. It depends on the SBC though, if an SBC comes out that requires a high rating, like 80+.

 

Which is pretty common for Champ League SBCs! So. A decent chance. I dunno, 1200? Maybe.

 

Again depends heavily on the SBC. And it's requirements, does it have a cap on number of players from same league? If it does then Spanish players go alot higher. Does it have a cap on same nation, then none Spanish players are in demand. You can really second guess it all day.

 

French players in La Liga will probably be good, as will Spanish players in Ligue 1.

 

Best try not to complicate it and stick with higher ratings at minimum price. Just stick with the Pants method, my thoughts are a bit greedy! 

 

What ever you do, just make sure it's zero risk. And dont buy players whose price has been shifted by hype.

Here's my current team. It slots into a 4231, with Politano at CAM, Neymar up front, and Mertens and Insigne at RAM & LAM.

 

What should I be upgrading to? The obvious choices are Insigne and Mertens.

I can go for a top striker, by moving Pollitano out wide and playing Neymar at CAM.

Or I could go for better wide attacking midfielders, but need to find central players that can play there.

 

I have my eye on VVD to upgrade Militao to also.

 

Plus that RB is an obvious upgrade (I was playing Scream Trippier there), but I'll see what else I get in my team before making my choice based on Chemistry requirements.

I don't like tall, fast players. I don't know why I can't seem to get on with them.  I hated playing with Muller last year/year before, and I'm surprised I feel the same about Aubameyang.  I've just binned off the Scream Alli (309k) bececause he just felt quite different to the likes of Allan.  20k Allan!   I'm hoping this IF Wijnaldum will feel a bit more mobile.  

 

How do you like Politano @Pants McSkill?  He's tall, isn't he?  Neymar at CAM seems an idea, but then who up front?  I've just changed everything up again and gone for Son, got rid of Merts. I'll miss Merts.

Gonna wait until Friday (apparently something is happenming Friday?) and see if I can snap up an IF Ndidi again, IF Digne and maybe De Brunye, depending on how my WL rewards go...De Gea too, now I don't need my Brazlian Alisson in the net!

RB will be 82 Semedo correct? Then you could get Umtiti or Pique CB.

Ronaldo is a great shout.

 

RB can be anyone, because I can just swap Rio and Militao.

I definitely prefer Mili over Pique or Umtiti.

Keep coming back to VVD in defence...

Managed a few games tonight, John Barnes is properly great. Whether he's worth nearly half a million is debatable, but he just seems to dominate the midfield. I've got an Engine on him on 8 chemistry at the minute, but 10 games and a position change will put him on full - can't wait to see his final form. No doubt my opinion is a little biased, but if there's a legend from your team, go out and get him - it's great fun.

 

Sadly, it will be bye bye Firmino when I unlock Keane. He's not been anywhere near as good for me as last year, when he was bagging a goal a game, but he's still been solid. I'll also need to swap Cancelo for Alexander-Arnold to keep Salah at full chemistry, which I'm not looking forward to, but a Shadow on his in form card should be good to go.
