There is usually a crap team or two of the four to play with a lower chemistry and they are much easier to get the win.do that one and then refresh the teams and there will be another lower ranked team, just keep doing it that way.

I was 5-0 in FUTchamps and then faced Papsity with a 10m coins team (Pro player), kept him to 2 shots in the first half and 0-0, before I switched to an attacking formation in the second half, I should have continued containing because I was comfortable before that really (although struggling make chances, his defending was next level).

Re. World Class squad battles. Forget pressing the ball, just congest your defensive third and when you win the ball back either play very fast counter attacks or very patient build up with lots of L1 dribbling around the box until an opportunity opens up. The AI are weak against simple skill moves like ball rolls, drag backs, heel to heels and running fake shots.

 

With all that said, I found the latest challenges far more difficult than the last batch. I won 5 out of 6 with my MLS and Eredivisie sides first time around, but have now lost more than I've won (3) with a much better Liga NOS team, even against the cherry picked bad teams. I think the latest patch has made a big difference to squad battle gameplay and the difficulty of these challenges.

It's definitely a step up, but like @Theholyhogg said, concentrate on the crap rating. lower chemistry teams.

 

You may want to try Legendary as well, many of us find it easier than World Class as it attacks more and leaves more space at the back.

He beat me 4-0 in the end, he was by far the best player I've played. Wish I'd have known who he was so I hadn't gone gung ho at half time, though!

Even worse,  drop back defence then slow possession build which you can't get off them.

Sacked off the 3-5-2 last night, just wasn't working as well as it used to, players too slow to get back up the pitch and was getting mashed up more often than not.

 

Tried 4-4-2 and it was ok, some good coverage all over the pitch, pretty sturdy, but a bit boring.

 

Might try 3-4-2-1.

This TOTW upgrade SBC is awful. Becoming more and more evident that EA are preying on desperation and turning their customers into gamblers. All of today's SBCs are very poor value for money, and I can't see anyone who completes them being truly happy they have done so.

don’t get hung up on the other persons team. Honestly some of the easiest games I ever have on Fifa are against people who drop hundreds of pounds to get good players but can’t play Fifa to save their lives.

Silly question, but is chemistry more important than high ranked players? Some games feel like my players are running a lot slower than other games, I think it's when I've tinkered with the lineup and not paid much attention to the team chemistry.

Absolutely.

 

Chemistry adds boosts to stats, and poor chemistry decreases stats.

It also does something funky to teamwork, your players will make fewer runs and won't cover each other on low chem.

 

Much better to start some clogger at ST on full chemistry, then sub on your superstar goalscorer from a different league (all subs have 5 chemistry).
