On a somewhat more poverty level, here is my main Bundesliga team and a fun little hybrid I've made.

I'm trying not to think of the coins I've 'lost' in the value of the 84+ rate BuLi players, all of their values have come down massively over the last few weeks.

 

Any suggestions on improving the hybrid squad would be welcome. I've mainly been playing squad battles so not too worried about meta players.

Just tried out my second team in my first placement match for Division Rivals, only changing Icardi for Papu Gómez and putting TOTW Martinez up top. Was 3-0 up after 40 mins (2 for Martinez  and 1 for Higuaín) when the opponent quit. Is quitting early normal for this mode? Did they just miss out on coins?

@Pants McSkill On the subject of Icon swap selection, Nick from run the fut market is doing reviews on his second channel which I'm finding actually decent. He's really good at the game which helps. He doesn't use them for massive amounts of time but I'm finding his videos more insightful than most. I've ruled out a few, anyway!

Gómez is amazing, most fun player I've used. His in form can't be worth the money over the normal card can it?

 

Edit: In form prices don't seem to make much sense. Some are hardly a premium over the standard card and some very good cards are at near enough discard value. Is it all down to pace?

I ruled out Gerrard as a result of them.


I can’t recommend Rio highly enough, he is a beast of a CB and unlike other CB’s he actively attacks/jostles and gets the ball.

Who wants top rated expensive players with high stats???

 

Who wants slow paced and cheap 1000 coin CB's???

 

Well after this match last night, I certainly don't see the point of the former nor do I see the point of having pricy CB's neither.

 

Mane with 94 pace and Vardy with 88 pace, beaten every time on the attack by 72 Rudiger, plus other amazing feats. Check out this video, look up my players stats if you want vs the opponents they come across and you will see mine should win each time, but then Dynamic Difficulty kicks in.

I dunno why you bother playing Fifa do you actually get any enjoyment from it?

Sorry, I've not sat through a 20 minute video....but was the ball being knocked on?  You can't run with the ball as fast as you can without it, know what I mean.  If it's knocked on though, you can stay ahead generally enough to do something.

I'm going to scoop up Otamendi when he hits -200k again, he shoudl rise again to 250k+ once hes out of packs and make some tidy profits

Well, that's just a shit ton of SBCs to drop.

 

A lot of Mixed Packs on offer too. 6 I think? 
If anyone is eager to do the League SBCs or maybe start prepping another League, this evening might be a good shout to grab some silvers - with so many mixed player packs being opened they should drop a bit.

I'm just really not interested in FUT on 20.

 

The gameplay is simply not rewarding enough, i honestly feel like I'm fighting against my players to get them to do what i want them to.

 

Heavy drawn out animations, weird passing where sometimes it zips and sometimes it's like you're passing it through a jar of treacle, likewise with shooting.

 

I didn't play champs last weekend, I'm not going to bother this weekend either, i think that's me and FUT done until they change the game dramatically, Frostbite simply isn't good enough for Fifa.

I'm with gooner on this.  Last year was an interesting one because I wanted to play bit hated the mechanics of the game.  I don't know if it's because I felt really burned by 19 but in 20 the servers have just been terrible to the point that I just traded the game in, I just kind of didn't care and didn't try and play.  The ultimate scream promo has had some good SBCs to keep people going and I appreciate that but it was a bit damp squib before that and I've really just given up tbh. 

 

It's a shame there just isn't a realist competitor to fifa yet.  I guess the license cost for getting involved would just put everyone off.

I tried Scream Alli and Scream Otamendi last night. Both seemed reasonable, but it was hard to get a read on anything because the new patch has fucked everything. It's absurd that they can change the core gameplay by this much pretty much whenever they like, and seemingly without testing it.
