Galacticos objective is proving tough. It doesn’t help that I’ve not played anyone else who’s doing it. Team isn’t terrible, but isn’t quite strong enough either.

Have never spent anything all of mine is SBC packs, squad battle/div rival rewards & tfr market. Mainly using bronze pack method.

 

I won't be playing for another few years, usually every 2 to 3 years.

I spent loads and never hidden the fact. 

 

I don't think spending money gives better packs though. I’ve just been able to plough all my shite into SBCs and got the team I have by those means.

My teams all untradeable except for 3 players in the whole squad. I get much better packs if they’re untradeable with the exception of the one that had TOTS Mbappe in it

I meant more as an Rllmuk experiment as to what ratio of players people get. I know it’s like asking a crack addict how much they spend a week on crack though and people won’t admit it, I just thought it would be very interesting.

I've always been open with my spending, just the way you wrote that last message read like you was out on a Witch hunt and you want to call people out on it.

 

Who cares if people spend money on Fifa Points and dont want to disclose those facts, its up to them.

 

I'm always made to feel like I'm doing something terribly wrong when I say "Oh I just did 36,000 points", everyone's so fast to jump in and tell me what a "waste of money it is and why do that dont' give EA the money blah blah" yeah it is, trust me I know, but as I've said over and over, its my fucking money, and the mortgage gets paid, the kids get fed, diesel goes on the car and bills get paid, so what I spunk the rest on is my perogative.

Fifa 20 I am going to be steadfast and earn my players. I'll probably get the Ultimate edition still, but I will be doing all I can to not spend money on packs, I need to fortify my will and stay strong. I quit smoking cold turkey I can fucking quit Fifa Packs cold turkey too!

It’s an addictive spend though. I actually hate it! So FIFA 20, if I buy, will be free FUT only. It’ll be interesting how the squad ends up at the end. 

 

I know where @carlospie is coming from, it would be interesting to see who spends what and how that seemingly affects things. I know for sure that my team, like @gooner4life, is all untradable from SBCs etc. My ‘paid for’ pack luck has been pretty shocking and not at all worth the money. All it gives you is load of contracts and stacks of useless players to plough into SBCs. 

 

Ill be spending my 2m this week, if I can bloody decide what to do with it, and that’ll be it with this FIFA. Certainly no more money being spent.

I started playing in March though which I regret will definetly be starting in September next time.

From that squad I packed Aguero, Pique, Eusebio & Mahrez. Iniesta & Torres are from the recent SBC.

Everyone else I have purchased from the transfer market with Gerrard the most expensive costing me 580K.

 

I have been very active in the transfer market almost every day making sure I have 100 items listed that I can relist during the day via the app & then using the bronze pack method & selling any duplicates etc from any reward packs.

Not sure about millions but you can certainly make enough to get a decent squad like I have. I don't quite understand the in-form method that has been mentioned so I stick to the bronze pack route for losse change but certainly having a big squad of players helps when a particular league/country is required for a weekly objective/SBC like recently I was selling Irish Bronze players for 3K a pop.

 

I've made 3.8 Million transfer profit. Looking at my squad Gerrard was 580K, Shearer 520K, Salah 80K, DeBruyne 135K, Hazard, 155K, Robertson 335K, Alderweirald 230K, Van Dyjk 170K, Arnold 300K & Alison 210K. That is 2.7 Million & I have another 150K spend on the bench. No idea where the remaining 900K has gone! probably buying & selling players for objectives etc.

 

I like the transfer market it's good fun when you manage to snipe someone cheap or manage to sell lots at a high price. The recent irish bronze players I think I made around 150K enough to help me buy the TOTS Alderweirald. Not sure what my next target is I only have around 60K at the moment so not spending any of that I like to have ideally around 100K in the bank just in case I need to buy any player to complete an objective/SBC.

 

Stop talking about it! I'm already thinking about if I should break my 3 year cycle & get Fifa 20 on release!

1-Invest in time playing.

2-Invest in time trading and SBC.

3-invest money.

 

I am probably going to spend about £30 on some packs upfront to get me rolling on Fifa 20,  whether I get lucky or not with those packs, that will be it. After that I'll just get back into the swing of SBCs.

Me and my Fifa bro were going to smash 48,000 points upfront to get a decent team, but I know now that if I do that, its just opening the door to even more Points, so I'm not. I'm just gonna save up the Ultimate edition packs we get and hit the Squad Battles and Rivals and go from there.

Now just hope my Rivals points is enough to see me through to tomorrow morning as I want Div 3 rewards for next week, can't chance a 3 loss streak tonight!
