Why though? I had 6 people do that to me, I assumed it counted as a win if you brought an outfield player on because it happened so much, tried it and it doesn’t count. So why be that guy?

Because they named their team ‘First Goal Wins’ and refused to quit after you scored first.

 

No need to neg me for that, is there? First goal wins and home team wins are dependent upon trust. If you abuse that, you don’t deserve to make progress on the objective.

Yep have to agree I had this happened to me three times today where the opposing player did not quit. Annoying on two of them they scored an equaliser taking the game to extra time. I lost one & won one. All three times their squad name was 1st goal wins.

Fair enough, didn’t realise they had named theirs 1st goal wins didn’t read it properly

From what I have read it is where the community chooses a player from a selection. Whichever players get the most votes they get an SBC. Some rumours that they might include some special packs but we won’t know till they start on Wednesday I think.

Yep no point in creating a bank balance. Game is nearly finished spend on a player you want or try luck on promo packs.

It was definitely tough, it is a real slugfest though. Not sure we are going to play that again. Too many games in a short time window runs a risks of ruining the enjoyment of the game.

Had a decent weekend league. Much better than my last few. Only managed the 19 games but got 14 wins, so rather happy with that. :omg: Also people never seem to bloody quit against me. :hmm: I'm clearly not good enough at crushing hope. 

 

I tried a completely new formation this time around with 41212 wide. I thought I would find myself overran in midfield but holding with PL SBC Doucoure, he held it all together. Bloody love that guy, he is keeping so many higher rated players out of my team. :wub:

I managed gold 2. No long losing (or winning) streaks this week, and I could spread it over the 3 days, so it felt like less of a grind. Holding onto packs for now. No more TOTW, so maybe they’ll put something else in there. Surely they’re going to want to tempt people to spend money on packs?
