Wow wow wow, I will not have a bad word said about Henrik! I have his 86 card (which is actually better than his mid card when you compare them fully) and in 290 games he has scored 203 goals and assisted 117. That’s contributing to 320 goals in 290 games and that is fucking incredible.

 

Zlatan has scored 139 and assisted 62 across 177 games so they have been an incredible partnership for me. Neither of them has the blinding pace of Aubameyang and guys like that but some of the goals they score are bonkers.

 

Ive hit 11 wins and have 12 games left but calling it a night as had a nice run of 4 wins there and want to end the evening on a relative high. By the way way, Rivaldo is an absolute Rolls Royce of a player. 17 goals and 12 assists in 22 games, really can’t complain and he is another one that has scored some real blinders when I have needed them most.

No seriously, what is the point of it? Is it purely the chasing of better cards because I have been using the same team apart from the recent changes since well before Christmas. There is nothing is there? No additional content, no clever tournaments, no special mode, it’s just the same addictive machine every... fucking... week. I’m going to finish on 11 wins, call it a day and I think that will be my last weekend league effort. Sad really but with DMC5 and Sekiro there is plenty of stuff I can really enjoy my time on.

For me when it clicks you can play some amazing football.

 

But as a product I'm done. The cards they have been releasing are just ridiculous. They are essentially making players up now.

Just managed to clinch gold 3 (5 games left) with probably my best comeback ever in a weekend league. Opponent was a FUT founder with this squad.

Thought I was done for when 3-1 down but Socrates took over with a four goal haul for my most satisfying win in ages.

Started conceding too many goals so changed formation and stopped sprinting 90% of the time when in possession and it's paid off. New division 3 has been not too bad so far and knocking on the door of div 2. 

Time to start saving packs for TOTS.

I just adore Sheva.

To be fair, I've played him in 8 games and he has 9 goals. Icons seem to out perform their stats. I threw a shooting boost on him for one game and he was incredible lol.

 

He may get used in a prime icon SBC but so far he has been excellent.

I really liked Seedorf! I'm definitely going to dip back into the Icon market, so many good players to give a whirl. I've owned Butes since the 08th March and I have played 13 games with him. :lol: So its not like I'm going to blast through these 10 match loans in one sitting.

 

Its really cheap to do an 82 and 83 rated loan team as well.

Anyone else attempting the current weekly challenges? No finer feeling than winning a penalty and having Emre Can convert it. :wub:

 

The challenge itself is bloody hard work mind. Half way through both but finding having it in rivals really fucks you over in terms of trying to get the wins, with it not having extra time.

Lots of draws, or wins where the wrong players have scored.

I couldn't bring myself to get a duplicate Larsson.

 

I'll save my players for the next promotion!

 

Icons are epic, but after the world cup mode in 18 where you could easily have 11 icons, it took the shine off them for me.

 

So I have 1.7m coins ready to play with.

SBC's are really addicitve!

I've been working my way through the various leagues yesterday & today.

Using Squad Builder to fill out the teams & if I have 3 or 4 spaces left to fill then shopping on the transfer market.

 

I had 12 packs to open yesterday evening. I got Kompany again, Marquinhos, Di Maria, Neto, Ziyech all 84 rated.

Got 6 packs so far to open this evening.

The closest league I am to completing is Premier League with 12/20 or Serie A 9/20.

I've still done the Prem 4 times, because once you have the pain of Cardiff you get to ride on the bargains again. :lol:

 

And I have said this before but Doucoure is amazing.
