Had a bad morning in the weekend league, slipping to 3-8. Found some form later though so now 8-8 with the luck that was going against me now affecting my opponents. 

 

For all the frustration the game can cause it does have some magical moments like this below. 

 

Was 2-1 up just now against a really good player  when one slipped pass when attempting to kill time in the last 5 minutes led to an equaliser. Luckily, Sturridge was able to outpace a knackered defence late in extra time to steal an undeserved win. The guy finished with 16 shots on target to my 6. Daylight robbery, I’d be fuming if that happened to me.

Lads we’ve got quite a lot of coinage between us, we should try price fixing a popular but not massively expensive player that isn’t available widely available, like otw Cancelo, it seems you could get the OTW at 225ish bin at various times today and now it’s 240lowest Bin, if we all bought them up at their cheapest through the day we could then sell at big profits if we stagger them onto the market.

I just tried to play some division rivals there, have they just shut more servers off or something, it was soo slow and laggy, i could press a button and it would take 4-5 attempts at pressing before it would register.  It's unbelievable how little EAput into this which is as far as I'm aware their flagship title

Got 4 games in today, currently on 11 wins with 10 games left. Somehow, I’ve won 8 of my last 9. Should have been 9 from 9 but lost a shootout after being ahead with a minute to go in extra time. 

 

Flashback Sturridge is officially the best striker I’ve used so far. 44 goals in 47 games with loads of assists too. Well worth the 100k he cost me to do. Can only imagine how much a player like that would be on the transfer market.

So after my 3 losses in a row yesterday morning I didn't play the rest of the day. First game this morning. 4-2 up and cruising with 10 mins left. Final score 4-5 loss. Nearly stopped for the weekend.

 

But then 8 wins in a row! Lost the next so am going to leave it till this evening.

 

On 12 wins with 9 games left. Be happy with Gold 3, so fingers crossed I can wrap that up quickly tonight so it's not a late one!

Cheers @AlfromSleep. I Iot gold 3 with 6 games to spare. Leaving it there. Don't want the stress and then struggle to get to sleep! 

 

Have had to fit this weekend league around a full weekend too, which added to the stress. Next week I've got a clear weekend, so will be able to do it a bit more leisurely.

My second time in the weekend league this year and ended with 11 wins. First 6 games I won 4 (Friday night), then 3 wins from 5 on Saturday night, followed by 4 wins from 11 on Sunday night. I wanted to go to bed and needed one win last night so 3 of those 11 games were rage quits when I was 2 down in the first half! Ended at just before 12 last night, far too much FIFA in short stints for my liking.

Just think of the poor souls who used to have to play 40 games!  *shudder*

 

I struggle a bit with 30 too and I've certainly felt the benefit of missing every other week.  It actually makes me look forward to it a bit more.  On an 'off' week, I casually play Rivals and the odd vs CPU game.  And it's always worth remembering you only need to win 11 games to qualify for another WL, so if you hit that and are struggling, just stop then.  :)

Since I’m not planning on changing my team much and having plenty coins, that’s the SBC done. Had untradable Koke and Thiago so they saved me having to buy some of the higher rated players but it still cost a lot. 

 

Packed Navas, sold for 27k, not much return on my spend but Alves looks great.

It sucks, it says it's a flashback to the 2010/11 season WHEN HE PLAYED FOR BARCA but he's a PSG card.  Wankers, the lot of them.
