Sooo.... I should do Sturridge then?

He's a lot more interesting now Salah's IF has plummeted in price.

 

I'm yet to do any TotW SBCs as I'm still slowly selling off all the 83s I stocked up. A trade pile of 100 and still lots in unassigned, with the SBC lasting a couple of days I'm taking my time and listing higher than I would normally do. Plenty of bites at 3.9k - 4.5k.

 

And if you understood the above sentence, let's just pause for a moment and remind ourselves we're grown men playing a video game. The fuck is wrong with me, really?

Well, it's a sad day. But also an exciting one. 

 

For...I think the last 3 FIFA's I've used a Serie A team, but I'd taken them as far as I could and fancied a change. I sold everything up, all the IF's and OTW's and CL's and waved goodbye to Dybala.  :(

 

But...hello to this bunch!

I worked out I spunked about 2mill on packs and was on 900k coins, then had to start selling shit to get money again to be able to get my team I want.

 

I cannot believe how terrible the 100k and Ultimate packs were, it was like EA were sharking me, luring me in with wicked pulls at the start and then BAM! out come the packs that are actually supposed to deliver and I get Fuck All!

2.5m roughly.  I managed to snipe some bargains last night though during all the madness, so maybe it was a little less?   I had to sell pretty much everything I had, consumables, the lot...totally skint now and can still be improved too (Marcelo for Alba, some players to bring on, etc).

I have managed to hold off buying any points or spending any of my coins on packs during this BF event. Pretty happy with myself!

 

But I seem to have got myself market banned from trading with really low amounts. Been buying silver players for 300 and selling for 450. Made 80,000 yesterday evening / this morning, but now can't bid on anyone which is rather annoying. No idea how long this is going to last. 

 

Want to pick up IF 88 Mertens while he's under 200k coins. Immobile has been awesome for me, but think my team suits keeping it on the floor.

 

May ditch Rodriguez from my midfield too and buy UCL Renato Sanches. Have three box to box midfielders.

I've been buying/selling 100 Bronze players since day one, nearly every day outside of rewards...how do you get banned?!!

 

I sold that IF Mertens (cost me 330k :omg:) to fund my new team.  He was a delight with a finisher chem.  He's so much more agile and snappy than Immobile.

I had a red TOTW Bailly kicking around in my club, I use him for full De Gea chemistry. Helps that he's pretty great himself.

 

I've been idly pumping shite from my club through the various upgrade SBCs today, nothing of note came from it though. I'm pretty settled on my team now, unless I can find a suitable replacement for Oscar and go full Premier League (plus Gotze, Kimmich and Sancho). I might try Silva, then start saving for De Bruyne.

Just won 3 in a row to get Gold 3 :blink:

 

Maybe the fact I went into the last games not really thinking about it as I was happy with Silver 1 helped. 2 games were comfortable and the last one took an 87th minute Griezman winner and some heroic defending to see it out but what a finish to the weekend.

 

Griezman, Pogba and surprisingly Martial were incredible for me. @tenrou Pogba is worth every single coin! I did snipe him for 416k at the start of last week but he is unplayable in most of my games.

Lot of traders are saying they're expecting a bit more of a drop when FIFA announce their Cyber Monday deals / SBCs - but this is all guess work.

 

May be worth checking late afternoon, early evening today. That's what I'm doing for Mertens IF and Sanches UCL - as they seem to be creeping up from Saturday!
