As for goalies, I didn't find Neto 'that' bad, Alisson wasn't a great improvement but Ederson is definitely the better keeper.

Just fully fed up with the game. Not enjoying it at all.

 

The main factor though was down to the amount of time I spent on SBC, Buying and selling players it was just way too much. 

 

I start a new job on Monday so it was the best time to pull the plug for me. 

 

Good luck on the new job man, very sensible.  

 

Can't wait to see who you pull when you re-install it!

Look at it this way, you're saying that on a tiny sub-folder of a forgotten videogames forum to a group of middle-aged men who have not only never even met each other, but don't even play the game with each other anymore, yet still come here every day to obsess about a single mode in a single game because we all have severe addiction problems.

 

So well done for going cold turkey. Takes some proper balls.

And there was me thinking it was just for me because I had spent a little under 700k in the space of 3 minutes to put this together and EA were checking it was all legit...

I'm stuck on 10 wins and can't get on. It's getting to the point where I might jack it in altogether (although not to the extent that Steely has), it's too grindy anyway, and even when you do clear time to play, it's not a guarantee that you actually can. At this rate, I might be forced to watch England.

Buffon's shit, don't do it.

 

Shortly after matchmaking came back, I went 12 wins from 21 games, leaving me just 2 from gold 3 and an early finish. I then somehow lost 7 from the last 8 games (including 6 on the bounce), with my team seemingly playing like a bunch of amateurs, and opposition keepers turning into world beaters.

 

Going into the last game needing a win, then. The opposition looks strong with red Sandro, red Mané and Aubamayang amongst them. It's already not looking great, falling behind within 5 minutes. I get one back, then immediately concede to go in 2-1 down at half time.

 

I get back to 2-2 on the hour, and bring off the tiring Gotze and Oscar for Koke and Paulinho. The other guy then scores the jammiest fucking goal I've ever seen, the ball bouncing around the area for about a minute, before falling cleanly at the feet of Fred for a simple tap in, with Alisson at the other side of the goal.

 

88 minutes in, and it's looking bleak, when suddenly Lucas gets played through on the wing, and pulls it back for Koke to slam it home! We're going to extra time.

 

The other team take the lead for a fourth time, Mané finishing off a quick counter, but I manage to play in Paulinho for a simple finish just before the break.

 

Second half, pretty much nothing happens. We're edging towards penalties. I hate penalties. I always lose at penalties.

On 119 minutes, Koke picks up the ball about 25 yards out and smashes it past Donnarumma into the bottom corner :omg::omg::omg:

 

I'm taking a few weeks off, too much like hard work this weekend league shit.

I had Lala’s 81 IF when it first came out and he was excellent and I am using Meunier now who is great so I would imagine his IF is where you need to go Al.

 

My next upgrade for RB will most likely be Lala’s 84 IF purely because I will need the Chem for the French players around him but if I had to choose it would definitely be Meunier IF.

Played one online match this weekend. Absolutely battered the opponent and I meant slaughtered. Got a pen early on and missed it. 0-0 on 44 mins and conceded a pen and a red. HT 0-1. 

 

Second half I changed formation and battered again. 86 mins I finally equalised. My opponent did absolutely fuck all all game, even with a man up until my two CBs collided and left a 2v1, 92 mins and 1-2.

 

I turned it off.
