I'm looking forward to the patch but hoping my generally weaker players won't get totally ruined! My CBs are strong though

I bought OTW Richarlison this morning, expecting to make a slight profit after TOTW dropped. However, that position change fucked me, and I'm not sure why - for a striker, his shooting stats are pretty shit, I can't see why anyone would play him there.

 

Anyway, I could just take the 13k hit and treat it as a lesson learned, but I'm going to keep hold for now and use him as a sub, hopefully he'll get another IF card soon.

It wont ever go up massively mate, he just isn’t a top draw player, my suggestion, wait a couple of weeks, but be ready to sell on hype as soon as his price goes up because he’s scored an early goal or on for some madness that means he will get TOTW again but if it’s not happening within the next month or so just cut your losses and sell.

No weekend league for me, 2 Mega packs for rank 3 (I think) rivals. Got Mahrez and some TOTW keeper, then a bunch of nice looking cards to throw at SBCs.

 

Has anyone tried normal Reus? I need to use either him or Schmelzer to give Gotze full chemistry, and I don't want to lose EA tax on 40k if he's garbage.

I picked his OTW up for 25k before the weekend games then (on @Pants McSkill insanely accurate advice) sold him for 36k on Monday night as he was apparently hitting his price peak... which he was. So that was a nice bit of foresight getting him for 25k and then a tidy profit.

 

I then thought I was being clever yesterday grabbing his OTW again before his boost once he was confirmed in TOTW but as Pants predicted he was already at his peak. I managed to sell him quickly before his price dropped but to my shame I picked up two and now have one still in my club hoping for another boost in the next few weeks to make the profit I thought I was going to get.

 

However, I did get LEROY SANE in my Rivals rewards this morning so swings and roundabouts :)

I got Marcelo in my Untradable Rivals.

 

I am spoilt for choice at Left Back now. Untradable wise I've got CL Alba, CL Robertson and now Marcelo.

 

Though that may be the nudge I need to go for the Varane and CL Ramos partnership. (and play Alba or Marcelo RB)

100k from 1m now, will probably end up doing another weekend league to see if the rewards for that and rivals can get me there. I could do it just now but would mean having to sell IF Neto and more importantly IF Talisca who has been my favourite player so far this FIFA.

Personally when I packed Marcello I replaced Jordi Alba, but he wasn't particularly great imo, great stats but a little slow, so I sold him and pick up Jordi Alba again, who is a lot more pacey and quicker on the ball, which is what I want on my fall backs. If you are into controlling, dribbling and holding the ball more than just pacing up the pitch and crossing in or through balling it, then maybe he's more your man.

 

Deffo get Varane though mate. He won 3 more games of Rivals for me with headers from corners again, he is superb.

I'm going to give one of them a go at the RB spot, get the best of both worlds.

 

Wish I bought Varane when he was 200k, upto 234k now. :(

 

I'm going to use Nacho Fernandes as a stop gap, because I refuse to spend big bucks before black friday! :lol:

I have the Nacho CL and hes decent, he's my cheap Ramos replacement when I sold him.
