Gomez is great generally, but even though his finishing is apparently 91 with the chem card I have on him - and it even says so in-game now - there's no way it feels like it.

 

Alejandro?  He used to be great for me, significantly more than 1 in 2 (since I dropped him for Higuain).  But I suppose with a Deadeye, his volleys are still poor and his power is good, but not in the 90's.  Reactions and Composure in the low 80's too.

Yes.  I love him.  He's nippy, agile, works so well with Higuain and Mertens, players just don't know who to pick up as they can all finish.  A lefty too, so it gives a nice bit of balance to the 'front' 3. 

 

His shooting stats with a Marksman on are ridiculous (for a CAM).

Ten games into my WL, six wins so far. Best start I’ve had at this stage in my three entries so far this year. 

 

First match was a 7-3 drubbing at the hands of a 3m+ squad with prime Larsson killing me but every loss has been tight since then. 

 

Put on loan Reus at half time with a game at 0-0 and he turned it with a hat trick. Great card.

Couple of quick player reviews - Pato TOTW is rubbish, he's never in the right place, and never seems to make any forward runs. The whole team just fell apart with a focal point for the attack. As much as I wanted to keep my coins in special players, I've had to go back to Firmino.

 

SBC Renato Augusto is fine, but he's very similar to Paulinho - he probably edges it in terms of quality, but Paulinho is a lot cheaper. Ultimately, not worth the effort.

 

SBC Oscar has really come good for me though. I've changed his instructions to get forward on the attack, and he's banging them in now. Again, there isn't a huge amount to pick between him and TOTW Talisca, so probably not worth doing the SBC, but I'm happy with him.

 

TOTW Sarabia (sp?) isn't anything special, but he gives Halloween Koke full chemistry so he stays for now. I'd be just as happy with Saul though, I think.

Flashback Gotze SBC has dropped, and he looks pretty sweet. More importantly though, prices on 85 rated players have gone bonkers again. 84s have spiked a little too, think about selling now and rebuying if you can afford to be without for a few days.

Paulinho is up to 12.5k, tempted to sell for now, despite being a key part of my weekend league setup. Have Fred as a stopgap until I’d get him back so worth it to make decent coin.

It was such a wind up. I literally packed and sold Muller about an hour before this dropped. Got 18k for him.

 

Rebought him for 25k :facepalm:
