Pretty much. The value of cards are going up Thursday evenings after rewards, i think because people get nuff coins and build their teams for WL.
Plus the cycle of CL cards a couple of weeks ago saw this:

 

-Tuesday Champions League SBCs come out, cards first appear

-SBCs last two days, after that no more supply

-They rise through WL

-They drop on Sunday/Monday

-They rise up through the next week, then fly Thursday night (two weeks ago)

-They plummet Monday/Tuesday as everyone expects new CL SBCs 

-New CL SBCs appear.

 

Does that make sense?

 

I don't think they hit the same highest prices this Thursday, as there's more of them. But you can see why I think they rise up again.

Loads of people on Reddit moaning about how good players get themselves relegated to get better rewards in Rivals, and so a Division 5 players has to get thrashed by a Div 2 player when they just want a game of Fifa...

 

Except I can't see any evidence of this. Are there posts anywhere by Div 2 players claiming they do this? Have we seen screenshots of players in Div 2 one week, then in Div 5/6 the next?

Because it feel a little like people just not being good at the game to me.

Generally I have found there to be less issues overall than last year. I did get totally screwed in a match yesterday but bad player selections but it's less frequent and good tactics can help. I'm currently in 5 with around 1360 skill points. 

I do think you get too few points for a draw. I drew 3 in a row, really hard fought games and lost one and ended up in a negative for the session. Won the next two mind.

The top players were doing it because it was impossible to get a game in rivals, hence the patch to hide some details from the other player at the point of matchmaking.

 

But it’s still very easy to get destroyed by a very good player while being a very good player if they are just able to exploit your play style and tactics.

I had -11 points for a 4-4 draw last night...wtf?!!

Skill points at the end of the match are determined by your skill rating versus your opponents.

So -11 for a draw would mean he had a skill rating 22 points less than yours going into the game.

 

You can get a much higher bonus for winning a game if your opponent has a higher skill rating than you, and a much lower bonus of your opponent has a much lower rating than you.

Nah, I can't see it. 

 

I've not played a FIFA that has seemed fairer. If I lose, it's generally because I made a mistake. I played probably 12 games last night and lost 3 I think. Each because I did silly things like trying to pass it out of defence after tackling, or chipping the ball to the wing with a goal kick too close to the opposition, etc.

 

Each game I play, I feel like I can get a result, even if I come up against someone with a load of Icons, because I think...well, you're in division 5 as well, so you can't be that good, or you'd be in Div 4, or a higher rank! I think the matchmaking is fair in this mode.  If I see any fucking silvers, that's when I shit it...

They just seem pointless to me. Single digit point increases in a load of attributes don't seem worth the huge cost ramp up. 

 

OTW's would be a better bet, surely, as the potential is always there for them to increase. Maybe?! @Pants McSkill
