Actually got 2 semi useable players for my Serie A team

I got the Spanish LB and Lala. Lala looks great, but there's no way I can get him with Oscar, Lucas Moura and TOTW Bailly.

 

Got another shitty IF and Telles in my packs. Could be worse, I guess.

I wanted martial, lewandowski or lala as all 3 would fit.  Got lala so can't complain.

 

Also got naingolan and David Silva in my packs.  That was super lucky as they were like 190k together.

Only player of note in my other packs was David Silva.

Did Marquee matchups and got Ousmane Dembele twice. Shame he’s now 1/10 of the value from when the game was released . Still, he was a fifa 18 super sub favourite of mine so will chuck one on the bench. 

 

Just sold Luisao, the ancient Brazil CB for 3.3k so well on my way to recouping the small sum I’ve spent to complete the SBCs from tonight.

I shifted my team around to try Lala - he's great, but to accommodate him I've ended up with Kimpembe (shite, constantly out of position), Young (shite) and Buffon (shite and expensive). It's a shame, but I'll be switching back. If you can get him in though, do it.

Closing in on being back to 200k after dropping below 50k after some big player buys last week.

 

Miles behind some of you guys but I’m only 29k profit before I’m at the half million mark, pretty happy with that in a month of having the game considering I’ve been focussed on playing rather than trading.

Personally I’d get Mertens instead of Higuain unless you love Higgy I know some do, in that case get Mertens instead of Insigne.

I’ve broken the 1700 skill point mark again for the first time since the first week the game came out.

 

Winning more than I’m losing now and managing to hold onto a lead.

 

And I’m sat on 1.5mil coins.

I’ve been in good form the last couple of days, won 75% of my games so hopefully it continues into the weekend league.

 

IF Talisca is my main threat at the moment from CAM, with Paulinho proving to be a good source of goals from corners thanks to his amazing jumping and heading stats (99 and 95 with anchor style). Douglas Costa is proving a tricky player to master though, sometimes he’s incredible and at other times ineffective so I need to work on getting the best out of him consistently.

Think I just focused on the countering, getting space and taking more time passing the ball, using the wings etc.

It's funny how different people like different players.  I just cannot get on with kroos but I like kimpembe buffoon and lala.  I had to put stay back while attacking on lala though or he was playing as a winger, half the time he was higher up than firmino who I play up front.

Kroos is great, but his stamina is terrible, he is down to a 3rd by HT.

Maybe its the Attacking/Get Forward setup? Need to see if i’m the cause.

I sub kroos on about 70 mins and id say he's better as that because he's got more impact when the other team is run down.

Well weekend league rewards went as expected best of the bunch was Pickford in both my packs then just 81 cards.

 

Don't think I have it in me to try it again this weekend, bloody hard work playing that many games. (Especially if you cant get on during the day.)
