I'll be doing the CSL SBC, as both players fit into my team very nicely, even if they're squad players. With no expiry though, going to hold of a couple of weeks till hopefully people lose interest in it and prices go down a bit. Happy to pay <100,000 coins - rather than then 140,000+ it's showing as at the moment.

Oh really - did not realise that! Just checked and you're right. Player pick, but repeatable. 

 

Makes sense I guess. Hmmm Oscar is tempting. Not sure he's 100,000 tempting. Will have to see how that one plays out. Did pack Mane yesterday, who would cover most the cost. Hmmm.

Well, this game was fun.

Anyway, so could you guys help me with my tackling? I'm finding that I concede roughly a goal per game where I tackle the opponent twice/three times in an attack only to not win the ball, and them to finally score.

 

 

EDIT: The formatting's gone fucked. Bollocks. Anyway...

 

Here's two examples from a game I played. Both have tackles in them, by In-Form Maguire, that don't win the ball.

I watch that Pants and I feel for you, because I get that a lot, almost to the point where I think sometimes the game just decides "Right, this team is going to win the game" and no matter how many slides, vollies, tackles or parking the bus, they will get the ball and they will score.

 

Add the player penalties too where the lower rated team gets a boost and my 87 squad all get their pace and reactions slowed.

 

Also I find when passing the ball hits my player and bounces or rolls a good 6ft from the player and gets intercepted a lot of the time too.

Use the jockey controls too, it’s the best way to get your player positioned before timing your press of the tackle button

It appears that way. It has been the last two Thursdays. Worth mentioning that that is the market as a whole, individual players may vary.

I *think* it's because not only do people get coins for WL rewards, but also they can choose coins for Rivals Rewards.

 

Rank 2 Div 6 Rivals and Silver 2 WL rewards (so not a particularly good player) gets 50k coins.

 

That's a hell of a lot of extra cash being pumped into the system.

You can also do fast pass with R1 and X, I need to use this more as my normal passes get intercepted all the bloody time. Another thing my CDM and defenders don't do! :doh:

Be careful as on 19 first touches often go wayward from a driven pass and lead to a counter attack as so many use press on heavy touch. 

 

Pass sideways and backwards more.
