I'm a bit stuck as to what to do now.  I'm sat on 220k and I've got the best Serie A team I can get (apart from He Who Will Not Be Named) so...what now? Invest?  Start buying stupidly priced special cards that are 2-3 points above the ones I have for hundreds and hundreds of thousands of coins and slowly make my team a different colour?  

 

I calculate my team is worth about a million if I was to sell up.  I could jump ship to the Prem and have a team something like this next week.  But is it much better than what I have?

But yeah, you are in a strange position so early.

A lot of people don't look into that. Stats like passing can be really dragged down if the player doesn't have good FKs for example.

My next targets for improvement are Douglas Costa for Taison (Neymar is much too far out of reach) Alex Sandro for Telles, Fabinho for Allan and Thiago Silva at CB alongside Miranda or Marquinhos (I like both, each have positives over the other). 

 

No, I don’t play the 424, it’s an in game switch to 433(4) with Talisca at CAM :D

I've switched my team up again, it always feels like something isn't quite right. I've tried swapping Talisca and Firmino, as at the minute Talisca seems to be scoring most of my goals from Firmino assists, but it didn't work out. I also got fed up of my wingers again, so I tried Willian for a couple of games (shite), and now Coutinho (also shite) which has let me use Kroos, who is sex. I'm yet to find a winger that I like, but I find wingerless formations just get too cramped.

I'm using the same formation, one thing I have found is it coming unstuck against people playing LM/RM formations, particularly the 4-2-3-1.

 

There CAM is constantly behind my midfield, there CDMs are stopping my CMs from getting forward and the RM/LM are tracking back and stopping me from working my way down the wings which has been my go to move. And then they are springing me on the counter because my LW/RW couldnt give two fucks about tracking back.

 

So it might worth setting up some ready to go formation in game depending on what your coming up against, rather than your starting line up.

 

If I come up against 4-2-3-1 I just go like for like now.

 

There will always be games where you get pinged because they are the better players, but this one formation caught me out like 3 times yesterday before it dawned on me.

 

In other news, my Hazard POTM has ran out and I am sad :( I take it all back he was bloody great, I wish I could afford him.

I'm no trading expert like you Pants, I haven't got a clue!  I don't even know what CL cards are (Champs League?) and thought Black Friday was some sort of online retailers sale.

 

I might spaff on 2x 45k packs and then buy an IF Cancelo, as my RB spot is a bit wank and then just........be.

And I'd take One To Watch Cancelo over the IF, as it's only 8k more.

5 wins in 10 from weekend league now. Improving, but still haven't had any really comfortable wins - even when I know I'm the better player.


Already thinking of improvements to make next week. Current team:

What do you guys think is better?

 

Leaning towards (1), being a Chelsea supporter and the better chemistry on Hazard. But Aubameyang is supposed to be incredible, so may be worth the slight chemistry hit (which will probably be unnoticeable). Alternatively, I side with Neymar over Hazard and go more Brazilian...

If you are so inclined to open one of those 45k packs, can I point you in the direction of the world class SBC in the icons group? Costs about 35k, for a rare players pack. I got a duff TOTW player and some other shit, totally not worth it, but twice as many rare players for less coins.
