Potm Lucas can be done for under 100k.  Think I sniped a few players to get it to about 70k.  Not played with him as it was late but 70k for a player of his quality seemed a bargain. However the market crashed quite bad as was said so it's hard to judge :)

 

potm mane  was 200k last year so that was my benchmark.

Picked up for 10k with a quick sell of 9,882. That’s a great deal for what looks like a very solid card and guaranteed money back whenever I decide to move him on. 

 

Yep I have him as a sub for Aurier.

That's my team right now. Kondogbia has been a beast, as was Wass before I upgraded him to Rakitic. I had the TOTW Alvaro and Sidnei at centre back, but they were shite so now they're on my bench. Looking to try TOTW Ben Yedder, Kroos and Asensio in there before I start looking at other leagues to make a hybrid.

Completed the Hybrid Nations set and packed a few useful players to help me to start a Brazil/Spanish hybrid.

 

Rodrigo is worth 20k but decided to keep him and do this squad. The Real Madrid guy Vinicius has 4* wf and 5* skills so will be a fun addition to the team. 

 

Bought Carvajal to replace Rafael so having Gabriel and Malcom in there means he’s on full chem.

 

Currently well on track for weekend league qualification, at 1600 points, so will be aiming for silver 1 or gold 3 when that comes around.

Busted through a few SBCs today, the UEFA Competition, Kick Off, Higuian, Nainggollan, and the Hybrid Nations to be precise.
Amassing myself 20 packs to open, in my first big Pants-Multi-Pack-Opening-Jamboree™ of Fifa 19.

 

I got my first set of boards!

Pants Builds a Million Coins Part 3 - So You Packed a Big Player

 

WARNING: These are all UTTER GUESSES and they may all UTTERLY FAIL.

Follow these at your own risk, and you may lose coins.

 

BOOM. The sparks fly, the fireworks go off, the boards come down and Jonny-Goal-Machine-Mc87Rated walks out.

Sweeeeeeeet.

After you've calmed down, grand ideas of selling him to fund purchasing all the guys you want flood into your brain, and you race to list him up as quickly as possible...

 

Don't do this.

 

Right now, the game is new. People just don't have that much money. But soon they will. A couple of weeks of Rivals and Squad Battles rewards, of Weekend League action, of grinding through the coin boosts... that starts to line people's pockets. And then we're yet to have the first Pack Promo...

When a pack promo drops, EA offer Special Packs for a limited time. You can buy things like Mega Packs in the store which you usually can't. So people part with their real world Dollarbucks for those enticing Fifa points and blow through a bunch of packs. While it adds cards to the game (increasing supply), it's also the first real injection of coins into the game too.

 

Later on, in a couple of months, a pack promo has the power to crash the market. But that's when there are a slew of better cards, upgrades and TOTW's everywhere. Right now, those big players will rise in value.

 

How long should you hold them? That I'm afraid to say is a question I don't know the answer to. But if you sell before this Friday, you'll lose out.

And Why Friday?

Friday is when Weekend League starts. People build good teams to compete. They then sell them on Monday once they're done and the cycle starts afresh.

I’ve put together a couple of variations to try in Rivals for the push on to get rank 1 in division 5 as well as a weekend league qualifying total. 

 

The guy Mariano from Real Madrid looks like a possible gem of an 80 rated striker (92 jumping with 82 heading accuracy) to play alongside Rodrigo who is reminding me of the TOTW Immobile that I used in 18. It means sacrificing Talisca for CF Williams at CAM to keep 10 Chem all round though. 

 

The other option is to keep with a more Brazilian theme and go with he mighty Hulk (hawk style makes him scarily good stats wise) at RM. it means I can keep Talisca at CAM but need to sacrifice one of the La Liga strikers for Teixeira to keep the chem high all round with that setup. 

 

Decisions, decisons! The sweat is for all to see no matter what though

That is cheap for Icardi, he is currently going for 35k.

 

 

All my packs have been properly awful the past few days, done them all the SBCs to date (Apart from the Lucas POTM) I even got the super duper mega player pack for doing Hybrid Master. :( (Using the Timmo cheat.)

 

12 players all gold, all rare and my best player....

I'm on Xbox these days so prices are just slightly different I guess (Still have PS just not planning to get FIFA on it). But either way, it seems cheap. But I guess he's not exactly rapid and isn't very strong. I'll have to see how he plays

Yeah this was my first thought, pre-ordered the Standard edition from CD Keys so could've been that. I also subscribed to EA Access to play early so it might've been that.
