Hart already looks to have dropped and settled, so might be worth keeping for POTY/YPOTY incase an English IF is needed. Otherwise sell if you’re not going to use him. He’ll only lose value once TOTS drops. Sell Hazard, unless you want to keep an IF for SBC’s

Whilst you lot are swimming in amazing cards, I took my Japan team to division 2 at last! It's hard work but a lot of fun beating much better teams than you. I know people all talk of dynamic difficulty but man, I get a lot of rebounds scored against me and very few for me. 

 

Anyway, this was my lineup for the title winner! I rested my main starters, Honda, Inui etc.

Mighty impressive with that Japan team... Are you not in anyway curious to see how you would fair with a better team...? 

 

I got to the final 2 games of the season in Division 1 (Using the custom tactics you posted @gooner4life, I felt like I dictated pretty much all my games with them, so thanks for that!) last night before my title challenge was once again derailed. Against a team with Ruud, Originaldo and 'Dinho. I had 15 shots to his 6 and got beat 4-0  For fuck sake.

In my team, the only players I am really attached to are Alaba, Boateng and Salah (I have fallen back in love with the guy, he scores all my goals! Which does beg the quest, what are my other attackers doing...) (Other ones I am rather fond of are Sterling and Vidal, but I've got a feeling there may be better CMs out there for me. I know for sure there is a better LF and ST out there for me.

 

I'm getting into fine margin territory now, I've got about 900k to spend on improving my team, I'm looking for any recommendations or beasts who would fit into my team, to get me over the line????

In preparation for those league specific premium gold player packs SBC’s that will most likely arrive during TOTS (I hope) I’ve been mass bidding on Rare Gold players at 600/650 coins each to stock up my backlog. This will allow me to do more of the SBC’s without buying players (at slightly inflated prices 800-1000 each probably) and there’s very little risk as I can discard them for 600 ish each if needed.

What numbers you ranging at?

 

I've saving all 82 upwards.

I've only stuck with Arnautovic so far because he is an untradable.

 

Neymar is good shout, the one thing putting me off taking the plunge on him, is the fact I never ever come across him in a match, which makes me think, is he any good if no one else appears to be using him?

5 star skills, 5 star weak foot, High offensive work rates, exceptional dribbling, quick, decent finishing. I think the only thing that goes against him is that he plays the same position as CR7, so is used less

Any. Doesn’t matter if they’re 76 or 82, makes no difference to the SBC. As long as they’re cheap, and not duplicates I’ll buy them.

 

Update: for example, I just brought 98 rare gold players, total cost = 61,500 coins which is 628 coins each on average.

I'm not really interested in playing as a better team @Steely, I enjoy the chaos that using this team often causes. Plus I've used a Japanese based team now for over 17 years in football games, I'm so used to their players I often find the better ones too fast and uncontrollable. Besides, I think it feels most realistic with these players over the point and shoot superstars. 

 

Pretty happy with these stats too. Mostly around division 3.

Just got absolutely demolished 8-1. That’s my worst ever result, and the only game so far that I haven’t been winning or competitive (11W, 5L). Going up against Prime Gullit, R9, and TOTY CR7 is absolutely no fun. Gullit is a monster!
