This is is me at the minute, I flogged those Icons about 24 hours after I bought them because the price dropped and spiked really well in my favour. Then ended up getting Salah at his lowest point before he battered Watford. So a bit lucky!

 

Didn’t play much this week, I don’t do the weekend League, I still just want the Div 1 title! Comfortably surviving at the minute but keep losing my very first match of the season which really ramps up the title pressure and it ends up being out of sight before I’ve got survival points on the board. :lol:

 

Formationwise, I’m going with 442 or 4231 but mostly if I don’t start well I am just mirroring my opponents formations which is going surprisingly well in most cases.

I bought Sane, my untradables are Sterling and Toure. (I have the Untradable PTG Willian to, but cant fit him in over Salah.)

 

I'll keep Rashford in mind! that card looks better considering his overall is 2 less. 

 

I haven't gave PTG Sane a fair crack yet though, I've got a lot of joy out of his 82 normal card, there's certainly a sentimental value attached to my want for Sane to succeed. :lol:

You bastard! I got relegated last night. :lol: Turns out whilst I thought I was improving my team, everyone else also seems to have improved far beyond me, I've never faced so many Ronaldos, Gullit and Ferdinands.

 

I started the season really well, I only needed to win 1 out of 5 matches to stay in the league and fucked it. (I could have easily won 4, but got thumped in 1.)  It was a classic case of being in a slump but refusing to call it a night,

 

One of those nights where you concede the first shot on goal in every single match, utter shite. Throwing my team in the bin! :quote:

 

I cracked the post with the final kick of the season as well, which would have saw me stay in the league, really bloody frustrating night.

Those pacey bastards are the reason I set my Pressure gauge to 25 and play Defensive at kick off, its the only way you stand a chance t keep up with them.

 

Need to learn how to use the Offside trap too.

There’s still loads of stuff I don’t know how to do:

 

Make your wall jump or move left and right when defending a free kick

 

Perform complicated set pieces with runners

 

Make your GK prance around on the goal line when trying to save a penalty 

 

Insta-take a short corner (I can get a player to run to me to go short, but other people seem to load in a 2nd player already there)

 

Dribble effectively 

 

Cross 

 

Cancel whatever input I accidentally pressed when mashing buttons to defend but then actually recover the ball and boot it out of play

 

Change player when the person you’re controlling is running to get the ball but you have other players who are much closer. Why won’t it let me change?!!

Well that was annoying. Final of the DKT, 5 mins in and the opponent gets his keeper sent off coming out of the box. He then quits, so loss for him, but because I wasn’t wining yet, I have to replay. So I load in again and come up against a team containing: Prime Gullit, Prime Ronaldo, Prime Ronaldinho, Prime Vieira, Prime Ferdinand, TOTY CR7, TOTY De Bruyne, TOTY Ramos, IF Valencia, IF Telles and... weirdly... Begovic in goal. By far the best team I’ve ever played against. Lost 2-1 after going 1-0 up. They then proceeded to time waste from 60 mins onwards and I just couldn’t get enough of the ball.

Got drawn into the baby SBC again and got Roberto Carlos this time, I would have been happy but I already have Alaba in a perfect Chem trio at LB :(

 

As much as it upsets my eyes, I'm going to have to put him RB on 6 chem, still better than what I have!

I'm in that place too Steely. Considering selling up just so I have something to do on the app building a new team. Already sold Salah (85) and KDB (89) so along with funds I already have there is a healthy 175k there that I can either use to bring in new RF and CM or continue the sale and re-build the whole team. My squad is a Premiership select so even the base players can fetch me a small profit right now but benching the untradeable Bakayoko and Bailly that both played around 200 games for me will be a sore one to take :(
