So I’ve worked out what I have in the club, and what I’d need to get R9. I would still need 2,815,000 coins worth of players, which would drop by a few hundred thousand if I do Icon upgrade SBC’s rather than purchasing them. I suppose I “could” sell my 96 IF CR7, but it’s a lot of coins to trade in for an untradeable player.

 

I think I’d rather wait until TOTS is released and play around with some fun players instead.

Any recommendations on how I can improve my Calcio A team? Only person of note that I own on the bench is 84 IF Brozovic - the rest are Calcio A loanees.

 

Have just over 50k in the bank - hopefully closer to 100k after the weekend play and squad battle rewards Monday AM.

Futbin guesstimates R9 costs 3.9mill to do.

So I needed 6 wins in a row for Elite 3...

 

I win 5...

 

Game 6 - 20m team. He has 96 Ronaldo and everyone else you can think of.

 

He races into a 2-0 lead and I switch formation. Suddenly I have some control and work my way into the match... Rashford hat-trick later and I'm ready for glory.

 

After an awkward bobble he scores a heartbreaking 90th minute equaliser. Extra time.

 

De Gea makes several saves to keep me out and it's pens.

 

First 4 scored for both. He misses...

 

So do I.

 

He scores and I miss, and it's over. 28 wins. No Elite 3.

 

He sends me a GG and it turns out he's won 30/30 this week. I just had to laugh in the end.

Unlucky mate, I stopped at 24/5, I just don't have the time to play 40 games when it's not extended, I was 24/4 and tried to get the 25th and lost on pens so just called it a night.

Don't get too excited @Steely I sold R9 after 10 games (22 goals) he had no assists, Henry went on a 10 game scoring drought, infact everybody else went on a barren spell as every preeeek i played went PTB, they were the 10 most painful, joyless games of Fifa I've ever played, and that's saying something.

I finished on 13 wins but wasn’t able to play the last 11 so could have been better. That’s three weeks in a row I’ve not been able to finish up the 40 and won’t be playing this weekend. Managed silver 1 monthly which is fine by me. 

 

Had a bad Friday which ended up 6-14 but managed to win 7 of the 9 I played on Saturday so definitely making some progress after a change in play style.

Hmmmm I supposed that's a very fair point, the better your team is, the more likely your opponent will shit his pants and park the bus.

 

I never park the bus myself (Until late in the game sometimes), its 1 bar to defence and 4-2-3-1 in worst case scenarios. Your team would warrant my worst case scenario. :lol:
