Shit finish to the weekend league, 13 wins in total. Ended up 2 short of gold 3 monthly. Pretty much every team I played today were stacked but I’ve got no excuses really, played badly and got punished. 

 

What happens if I claim my rewards on Thursday but don’t play the weekend league, does it remember the auto qualification for another time if I don’t start playing? Or would I need to hold onto the rewards until I want to play in it again?

Qualification is granted regardless Al, so your qualified for next weekend whether you collect the rewards or not, can’t save it for another weekend unfortunately.

Cheers mate, not sure if I’ll play this coming weekend, can only do Friday and then would have to hope the servers go tits up again and it gets another extra day. 

 

Starting to get frustrated with the game (probably taken longer with me than most folk) so maybe a break is for the best!

Hello lads,

 

I’ve started playing FUT again the last 3 WLs, and other than a ridiculous and unprecedented losing streak last night (7 games), I’m enjoying it. A disappointing Gold 3 so far for this weekend though, which is frustrating but I’ll see how it goes later.

 

I’m still using a Serie A team,  and I don’t think I’ll change this version.  The value for money in Serie A is excellent, so will just look to add in some Icons to compliment it.

 

My pack luck has been surprisingly good over the last 24 hours.  I packed MOTM Willian’s 87 card last night, then today I packed Dybala’s upgraded 89 card, Icardi’s upgraded 86 card and Miranda’s 86 card.

 

Mertens and Gomez have been my best players. Mertens has around 130 goals and 80 assists in 160 games.  Gomez has 110+ for both goals and assist in about 180 games, so I’m a bit reluctant to drop him even for Dybala...

 

I’m going to upgrade Reina in goals, then was planning on upgrading to Koulibaly’s IF card, but I’ll probably just have a clearout out and buy an Icon for CB.

 

I’ll most likely upgrade Kluivert at some point too (only played approx. 60 games), but his ability to win a game out of nothing is very useful for now, especially in tight games. He’s strong enough to hold off his man, get that yard of space and score even up against the best defenders. He’s also the only player I’ve been able to score regular headers with from open play and corners.

 

If any of you have a Serie A team, then the current promotional packs are Serie A based. Even if you don’t they’ll be useful for the Italian SBCs.

The Chem doesn’t get affected if you move players around during the game then?

30, I went 18-2 in the first 20, then was 25-5 by 30, didn’t think I could get elite monthly at the start because I’d only played 98 games before the weekend, so had to clutch it.

 

Done it with 4 games to spare, went for elite 2 but lost one on pens so finished on 30 wins.

I’ve packed a lot of shite too lads although did get the new Perisic which is encouraging me to build a Calcio A team around him. My current team is mostly Prem with IF Werner so I would sell Perisic to improve that squad if he wasn’t untradeable. How much would a half decent Calcio A team built around 4-3-2-1 and Perisic at LF cost?

Roughly 400k for a NIF Squad, 1.5 mill for a mostly IF Squad with Milinkovic-Savic. Plus more if you want Dybala.
