I think it’s if the base card gets a boost to the same rating as the inform, the IF card gets an increase too. 

 

Im hoping this pic I’ve seen on twitter is true, his skills have already been upped to 4*

FUT RATINGS REFRESH FAQ

Upgrades apply to new basic (not in-form) player items found in packs. Non-IF players in your Club will not receive an upgrade.

If an upgraded player’s new OVR rating equals or surpasses his existing first in-form’s rating, his IFs will get an upgrade:

An exception is made for lower-rated player items with significant upgrades.

This does not apply to Ultimate Scream items.

If an  upgraded player’s new OVR rating does not equal or surpass his existing in-form’s rating, his IFs will not get an upgrade.

Ratings Refresh will not include any downgrades this year.

 

@MardiganX Yeah 84 Sane, I still get some good use out of my original Sane too :D

Are there predictions available for Bundesliga players? Interested to see what Werners new base card is as he will surely get an upgrade.

I've decided to just settle on the 41212, as everyone who's good plays that.

If I can't pick a formation 5 months in, I should just stick to and learn to play the one that all you lot and the majority of pros use.

 

I do play it with FBs to always overlap, because I have to have width in my team.

 

So help me finish this team please chaps!

 

A great CDM is essential obviously, as are FBs who can cross and dribble a bit (pace less of an issue, I can slap chem on them).

I'd like a CM with high/high opposite Pirlo, but am not wedded to that idea.

 

And if there's a much better option than 92 De Bruyne, (currently worth 650k), then I could be up for swapping.

I’ve been playing around with this for a while now and can’t seem to find a way to get CR7, De Bruyne and Pirlo in the same team, without at least one of them being on 6 chem. Even with formation changes.

 

I think you might need to choose one of KDB or Pirlo to build half of your hybrid team around. Or just use Pirlo as a super sub, as his low stamina means he’ll rarely last a full game. On the other hand, KDB is at least worth a decent amount of coins...

I considered that but I had Ozil in one of my early setups and he wasn’t very effective.

 

I am just assuming KDBs 89 card is brilliant by the way. Surely he is as good to play with as his stats and impossibly thick head of hair suggest?

I thought it might be a tough ask. But with the coins from flogging KDB I could afford a solid icon.

Giovinco is also one hell of a CAM, so I'll also have a think about bringing in another striker.

After a good start on Friday (11 wins 4 losses) it then all started to go bad on Saturday and Sunday. Ended Saturday on 15 wins 10 losses, and went into Sunday needing 6 wins from 15 games. Ended up needing 4 wins in 7 before a winning streak saw me hit all 4 in a row leaving me with 3 games left to play and no pressure. Hit Gold 2 Weekly and Gold 1 monthly. Happy with that. I used the last 3 games to muck about with tactics to no effect

Made a couple of changes to my controller settings (:oI was on manual :lol:) and added 91 Ronaldinho to my squad and had a lot of fun this weekend.

 

First 20 games I went 18-2, then got to 25-5, so needed 4 wins from 10 games to get elite weekly and monthly.

 

And I smashed it.

 

all the while playing wrapped in a blanket and on loads of lemsip as I have the flu.

Well, I gave it a break for a week, then my Pro bud qualified for me so I gave this weekend a shot, SIlver 3 with 8 to play so fingers crossed I'll qualify again.

 

Been using 4321 and its working well, although I seem to jinx my play whenever I post about it...
