As far as informs an OTW you got, whilst they are not top tier they are still pretty good pulls! Jaoa looks decent, hopefully he will get an inform or atleast have a good game and you can cash in on the hype. His card does actually look decent if you have a prem team, I might pick up his OTW myself and hope for an inform.

Cash made:

I only sold dupes, as I know from experience your transfer pile fills up well quick. And even then I tried to only sell dead weight or sbc-inflated cards - I still have a full 100 players in my transfer list. That lot coupled with discarding dupe balls, stadiums, etc saw me up about 120k on the evening.

 

 

I noticed a hell of a lot of Eredivsie and Calcio A players coming through, I suspect I'm in a good position to take a run at those for the next time we do this.

All-in-all, I think it's well worth it, and way more fun than just opening two or three packs at once. Plus it's well fun listening to everyone else's pulls.

 

And a big shout out to @gooner4life, who essentially acted as a commentator, chipping in with price updates on all our players and expert opinion on where best to play these players in-game.

I've also assumed the best case scenario for player value (i.e; 640 for rare gold, 316 for gold, etc) and an average of 32 gold coins per consumable. I've also used the lowest BIN on FUTbin for the notable player values.

Conclusion

Packs are not worth their value, either in gold coins or FIFA points, unless you hit the jackpot. If I'd have brought the equivalent packs using real cash, I would have got very little return on my £185.

It's fascinating, because the question as to 'is it worth it it?' is tough to answer. A lot of packs for us came from the recent daily OTW SBCs, and Marquee Matchups, which I suspect we would have done anyways. I pushed forward and did some League SBCs too which, looking at the above, certainly tip it into 'not worth it' if you're purely judging things on a coin value.

 

But it is an entertainment product, something I do for fun. And this is a much more fun way of playing this game, instead of just opening packs as and when they come.
So it's worth it to me, but I can easily see how it wouldn't be worth it to others.

Yeah I agree, i think packs are worth doing when they are SBC rewards, but collating the above has proven to me that packs are not worth buying, either with in game coins or real life currency.

 

When the next big FIFA event? We should plan another mega pack opening evening to coincide with the end of the next event.

Didn't get anyone over 80 from my fut champions rewards 

 

Not had a good start to this week either, 5 wins and 10 losses so far which wasn't helped by me being kicked from the servers three times when leading. That kinda shit doesn't help at all, just makes me lose the plot with the game leading to more losses. Started with 6 defeats on the trot but the first win came with a 9-0! I'm super inconsistent.

The guy is literally known because they overrated him for FUT and gave him ridiculously high strength and his card ended up being rare too.

Ive only done Napoli and Roma so far, need to get stuck into more. 

 

Bought this beast. Two FUT Champs games since his introduction and two wins. I replaced NIF Hamsik with him and he seems so much better at everything, especially for defensive duties at LCM.

Finished on gold 3 weekly with 5 wins from my last 8. New boy Milinkovic-Savic was a key contributor to the wins with some beastly tackling but the main thing about him is the ability to hold onto the ball. Not had anyone like this yet on 18 and his long shots ain’t half bad either. 

 

35 wins from the first two weeks, currently on track for gold 3 monthly which would be my first ever venture out of the silver 3 zone.

I’m on 12/20 so far. There’s no way I’ll finish all my games this weekend. I’ll probably get another 12 games played tonight, so Gold 3 should be obtainable, which will be my lowest finish since my very first venture into FUT Champs.

My second foray into the weekend league.

 

Only managed to play 20 games, its a bit of a slog isn't it! This game is just so fast and the margins are so narrow, when your playing you need to be so focussed, it all gets abit tense.

 

I managed to get Silver 1 (14 Wins) on my 20th game and ran out of time to push on for Gold 1, typical the one bloody weekend I do play, there is no extension. (Does silver 1 qualify me to play next weekend? I wont be giving it a proper crack but I might try and get my monthly wins to a certain point.)

 

I lost 4 of my first 5 games, then managed to put a bit of a run together. I switched which Icons I was using after the first 5 games which may have helped a scootch... Ended up playing with Ronaldinho, Van Basten and Matthäus for the rest of my games.  Fuck me, what a set of utter beasts.

Completed the Ligue 1 SBC, had most of them done, just had a few cheap ones with rubbish reward packs to do and then the one whopper, bloody Lille!

 

Absolutely Brutal. If you have anyone from Lille in your pocket and dont intend on doing the full france SBC, then get them sold. (Its only certain positions mind, Silver CB/LW/RW all go for silly monies. 12k+)

 

At Least I have 90 rated Cavani now who can come off the bench, even though he has always been useless on Fifa for me... Wait, why did I do this again.
