Starting in February Weekend League auto qualification is changing to 11 wins, I don't think i've seen a single post on here, reddit, twitter or the EA forums asking for this change, but EA decided to do it because most people stop playing when they hit gold 3 (18 wins).

 

What everyone is asking for is to extend the WL by a day, if they include Monday it's still 10 games a day, why do they insist on not giving the playerbase what it wants?

I'm happy about the change.

 

Qualifying for the event is harder then the event itself, so at least if I get in I get a good chance to play the following week, and hopefully play more of the lower skilled players like myself.

 

I'd actually prefer them to scrap or change the qualifying, not fair to isolate the average players.

I wonder if 40/40 will be much rarer now that the Top 100 players will have no way to identify each other?

 

I have 10 packs saved up already, plus 3 from the WL tonight. I have only kept Gold packs though, as the silver and bronze packs I got I opened as they might help me complete more league SBC’s and therefore save more packs in the long run. I had a game of online draft last night, got to the semi final and lost to an outrageous CR7 goal from a corner. It was behind him and he somehow hooked a volley in from the edge of the box. 

 

Also, I’ll be opening my monthly FUT Champs pack as soon as I get it. Just because... :lol:

Its all a moot point though, as I haven't been saving my packs up, just using the prize pulls to sell and buy more players to do more SBCs! Its vicious circle.

 

Kind of running out of good packs now though. :( I'm still only on around 200k, think I started with about 90k, so all in all its been pretty poor for me. (Serves me right for not saving up) I've only been selling dups and big players though, so I might be a bit better of once I go back through the leagues and sell players I've already completed challenges for. I've had no one properly exciting, just some decent players like...

And I think that is about it, so yeah! Not great!

 

My method for completing them, a glance as Futbin for rough values. Do a quick check to see if I have any players already. Then set the transfer search to that specific club then look for the lowest BINs for some easy snipes, set to bronze, silver and gold separately, to stop that one gold player from clogging up your list. Once I've bought the majority for as cheap as possible, go into the club, auto fill to see what I have left to fill, then auto fill with concept players, work out which concept players you can get away with, so a GK at LW for example, then just do a search for that specific player from the SBC page.

 

Its fair to say my work productivity over the last few days may get me sacked. Worth it. (It really wasn't worth it.)

You guys teams make me sick!

 

My main method of acquiring packs has always been the Squad Battles but playing quite a few games against the AI this week has effectively ruined that. Players with seemingly 109 overall ratings and tackles being made from either ridiculous positions or blatant fouls not given. The fouls not being given is the biggest issue and for some reason it always feel worst against the AI so pretty sure I am done with it and will now just slog my way through online seasons.

I’ve got a Calcio A squad on PS4 and Premier League on Xbox but it’s hard to keep both going with the same commitment so I tend to do a couple of weeks on one at a time. 

 

Currently using the Calcio A squad in the weekend league but after a string of losses I’ve bought SIF Immobile and dropped Mertens to CAM in place of Gomez. Instant result with a hat trick on his debut. Allan starts at CM then Pirlo comes off the bench to pull the strings (when I’m not losing late goals to blow my WL record)

How is Monreal LB? Tempted. Just so I have a shinny inform card in my team for about 18k.

 

My team without Loans is rather unimpressive!

 

Anybody know of any decent youtubers for formation tips and tactics? ''Tis a minefield out there.

Boras Legend is probably the best youtuber for everything, I’m sure he’s done some formation and custom tactic videos.

Returned to online seasons with my Japan+Courtois team and reached a high division 4 this year. I really should have 9 points already too but have been the victim of the usual rebounds. 

Looking forward to the kick off goal patch that is incoming.

 

Also been messing around with my team. Stuck my ST Kubo at RF and he cannot stop scoring even with 7 chemistry. Also my new IF Morioka is 76 overall and all stats are better than 83 Kagawa bar dribbling. Weird how that works out. 

 

Current here. Morioka will likely get a TOTS card too. One of the highest rated players in Belgium.

Had a terrible weekend league so far with only 10 wins from 28 games.

 

Need a miracle to get the 8 from 12 needed to automatically qualify for next week, unless the 11 win requirement starts from the next batch of rewards. 

 

I was ready to throw in the towel today when 3-0 down after 20 minutes (to a guy with three icons and paused after every goal like they were trying to inspire me to rage quit) but somehow managed to turn it around and win 5-3. This game really is marmite at times :D
