I agree. A quality CDM (or 2) is a must for WL. Bakayoko is your cheap option, otherwise Kante or FUTMAS Ander Herrera if you did him.

 

In other news, I’m saving for CR7, but struggling to figure out how to best fit him into my team. I did the Rui Costa SBC as I had the players to do so and he’s a Portuguese Icon to help fit CR7 in. I’ve sold Rooney IF, Benatia IF and De Bruyne to raise more funds. Just 500k off now.

Pretty much. It’s usually the FIFpro team, but there are rumours that EA might mix it up a bit this year and put out a full 23 player TOTY, with SBC’s and stuff. I guess we’ll see pretty soon enough

I sold 4 that I had in my club and invested 2k doing bronze packs and got another 2 last night, all sold instantly

Finished Gold 3 with 18 wins again. Friday I went W9 L4. Saturday I ended W15, L12. But could only manage 3 wins out of 13 games last night. Sunday does seem harder: not the quality of the teams, but better players. Everyone rushing to get their games finished maybe? 

 

Also, people who use home stadiums with shadows everywhere can fuck off. It’s so annoying!

Sunday’s are easier depending on what level you are tracking for, if you’re predicted gold then it’s harder as generally the very good but not consistent enough for elite play Sunday’s, if you’re going for elite then Sunday’s are best, Fridays are a crap shoot, you could start 5-0 playing 5 bums and then get 3 top100 Guys in a row.

I remain competitive in nearly all of my games. There was only 2 games where I was properly outclassed. I sometimes even go 2-0 up and then park the bus and still concede 3 goals. In one game I was 2-0 up, then 2-1, and then the other player hits a 35 yard screamer with Erickson in 90+2 minute to take it to extra time. I go 3-2 up and he then takes it to penalties with a header from a corner in the 119th minute. And then I lost on pens.

 

I need to learn how to see out games.

Apparently if you opened packs between 6pm and 11.30pm on Dec 28th, EA are refunding those packs back into your account, as they forgot to put the Viera, Bergkamp, etc prime icons in the pack pool.

 

Looking back at my posts, I was playing DKT that evening, so might not have had any packs to open...
