Well done! Furthest I got was 3rd round, tough as fuck that is! Even with good team I suck at this game. I can seem to make chances and my defence still just lunge around the players. Getting there though! Good luck!

In other news 4 new legends are out! Bergkamp, Shearer, Viera and Puyol. Loans are a bit pricier than usual thanks to the TOTW challenge requiring 83 rated teams.

 

Might wait till the final day and get tham all, bar Puyol.

 

PS. I'd also advise against doing the TOTW challenge for a tradable, you are looking around 45k in cost or potential sales, when the players them selves are pretty naf, bar the top 3 stand outs (+Benatia), you would lose money on the rest (14 basic bitch players).

Packed an 81 rated Ligue 1 inform and Barzagli from the most recent Futmas SBC, worth 27k combined, not bad for a few discard Argentinian league golds and a bunch of silver and bronze to make up the rest. 

 

I’ve been busy the last few weekends so haven’t bothered to try fut champions qualification but will give it a go next week.

I am sticking with the back 5 in Game, but I’ve set my full backs to always overlap, most people are completely caught out by it as nearly everyone sets them to stay back while attacking.

 

Not gonna bother with prime Bergkamp, I like the card I’ve got, it’s classic Bergkamp, as I remember him Best from Arsenal on the picture on the card.

 

Think I’ll get the 88 Vieira as well, the Prime is amazing but I don’t wanna drop so many coins on an untradeable now.

So my first ever WL went better than expected so far. 9 games played, 5 wins. I got trounced in my first game, and thought that was a sign of things to come, but then won my next game and from then on the other 3 games I lost were ones I could have actually won if I’d played slightly better. Roll on tomorrow night

What happens if the other player in WL disconnects when drawing? I was 6 wins out of 10, and drawing 2-2 in the 86th minute and then the other player disconnects. I didn’t get the win, but it didn’t seem to count as a loss either, as I still have 30 games remaining. Does the other player get a loss at least? Do people disconnect if they get a man sent off late or concede a penalty late in the game?

Fuckin' Hell Gooner, that's 4 Griezman's in a fortnight?

I'd like to be able afford just the one!

 

I'm currently doing my 'save loads of packs' thing and thanks to the Daily Futmas SBC's and only being two teams away from completing the Russian League SBC, am up to 43.

 

Now, it's a tasty TOTW this week... Or I could keep going and save them for TOTS which should be coming out soon... I hope at least.

If I did save them, I'm currently on a mission to do as many of the League SBC's as possible too, so I could try and get 100 packs ready to go before TOTS dropped.

 

What would you lot do?

 

 

Also, if anyone can work out a team that's 100 chem that features both Ronaldo and Legend Pirlo, that'd be great. Cos I can't seem to without using an icon.

Thanks. 40 games is A LOT of games to play in 3 days. Not sure I’ll rank this high again, as I’ll probably only be able to manage 10 games a night max with no daytime play next time

Loving the new Squad. Can't quite afford Modric yet, but Casemiro is still a massive improvement over what I had before.

 

Inspired by Gooner, I've also been giving the 5-2-1-2 a go.

It's fun, but I do feel like I lose a bit of control of the midfield, especially if the enemy is pressing a lot.

But it's an easy switch to a 4231 or a 4-3-2-1. Marchisio is a surprisingly good False 9 too.

 

 

Up to 53 packs in the store and have done the Russian league! Promes off the bench for the win.

 

I am rapidly running out of coins though. Down to around 20k, which isn't enough to finish any of the other leagues. 

If the TOTY doesn't drop soon, I may have to just open all those packs up.

If you’re not a fan of Marcelo (I found him a bit clunky and slow) you could always go with Alba, Umtiti, Ter Stegen at the back. Ter Stegen has the Saves With Feet trait which is great for goalkeepers, and Alba is fantastic.
