His SBC is also mega expensive but I can do it with players in my club, hopefully his card will be as good as fut birthday Ogbonna on 17, that will see me right through until Fifa19 then.

Today's daily Futmas SBC is about as easy as it gets for a pretty decent reward.

Done with 4 dupe gold cards and 4 dupe Bronzes sat on my transfer list.

The best card I’ve ever gotten on this FIFA was David Alaba. In fact I think he’s the only one worth more than 50k. I’m definitely punished for not spending as I’ve opened a metric ton of reward packs.

I use him on my back four (Bailly sent to the bench) and although he seems a tad slow, he’s solid in defence and for me is the only defender that I take control of that always gets the ball. Just don’t send him too far forwards during attacks.

I pair Bailly with Luiz but think the Brazilian is slightly better as he seems to automatically press a little more when not being controlled.

I agree with that. I also use both. I find Bailly defends better when controlled by me, but Luiz defends better when controlled by the AI.

Untradeable TOTW 14 SBC’s are up for 1 day. Just an 83 rated team needed. Did 1: got Alonso. Not sure I’ll do any more, as even if I get Suarez or Neymar, I won’t be able to fit them in my current team.

 

I’m going to do as many La Liga SBC’s as I can and keep them for TOTY

Gutted. Got to the final of the Daily Knockout twice tonight. 1st time I came up against a team with CR7, IF Suarez and Bale up front. Lost 3-2. The 2nd final was against a French meta team, went 1-0 down then 3-1 up. Then 3-4 begins. Scored an equaliser in 88th minute to take it to extra time. Then had a penalty saved in the 118th min before he went upfield and scored. David Luiz for some reason thought he’d go upfield to get a better view of the penalty (even though I was on Ultra Defensive) so there was a massive gap in my defence to stroll right through. Gah!

FINALLY!!!

 

I have qualified for the WL. The semi final was the hardest match, scraped that 2-1 in extra time. Scored in the 104th minute and played for time for the rest of the game. Dirty tactics I know, but still... R16 I won 6-2, QF I won 6-0, and then the final I won 4-1. 

 

Here’s to getting my arse handed to me at the weekend
