I’ve stuck with a Prem team on Xbox for now but have built a Calcio A squad on PS4 after pulling Hamšík and Matuidi in my pre order packs. 

 

Still waiting on some decent value players from my La Liga team to sell so will have about 120k at that point. Any thoughts on who I should pick up to improve the team?

That would make that team shit HOT.  I used Lukaku at LB until very recently. I only bought Sandro because I was flush. Can’t tell the difference!

 

Bonaventura is a good sub. Pjanic might work better in midfield for you instead of Marchisio...Belotti is a great cheap option from the bench too.

Loving the change of team already, two games, 8 goals. Just had my quickest rage quit ever after going 3-0 up after 6 in game minutes, two by Allan and Icardi's third in the two games. 

 

Time to hit the transfer market for those upgrades!

 

Edit. Got Mertens, very tempted by Scream Perisic who looks crazily good. IF Icardi is now on 8 goals in three games, he’s such a beast.

How come some games feel sluggish whereas in other games my players are zipping all over the place? Nothing changes. Same players, same fitness levels, even offline in Squad Battles

I didn’t like Perisic. He’s one of those taller players like Muller of old, that feels slower than his stats say. I hated Muller in 15/16/17. 

 

Now you’ve got the holy trinity of Gomes, Mertens and Icardi, you’re set. You’ve got two CM’s that are all rounders, a beast CDM and a really nicely balanced defence with a huge keeper. Fuck Perisic! Fuck him to hell.

I did the SBC’s and then sold my surplus players for each club for a total of 36k. Got  nothing worthwhile from the rewards, a few dupe 83’s to go with the other 70 x 83/84’s in my trade pile

I’ve only got Lille to finish on the Ligue 1 SBC, but no way am I spending 100k on 3 Silver CB’s and a Silver RW. Those players were extinct yesterday, so EA must’ve raised the max BIN on them with the roster update yesterday. Will they come down in price over time, or will they go extinct again?

 

Edit- actually, with a couple of position modifiers I can get away with only buying 2 CB’s and a LW, but that’s still fucking expensive

I opened a 35k pack last night after playing clubs with @GrahamDunn and @BiGBaZ96 we were talking about Griezmann before we went off and out he walks, sold him for 200k with a 190k min, his lowest bin was for 191k somebody must have bid 190 got outbid and bought him because they wanted a fresh card.

Draft is such a joke in that respect. EA’s steadfast refusal to appropriately reward those who are good at the game is so stupid. Someone worked their way to Top 100 and their rewards were just so bad. A person putting the same effort into some trading will make far more coins. I’m sure EA will work out some anti-trading methods soon enough.

They have already, so many people get Transfer market bans for mass bidding, they regularly screw OTW investors, people who invest in high rated cards etc, the thing is as it's a market people will always make some profit off the back of the people who take losses.

 

But you're right the rewards are just not appropriate at all, I wouldn't mind but I had the shittest draft squad I've ever had as well, IF Coutinho was my best player, I had no chem, beat teams with TOTGS Ronaldo, Neymar and Messi etc in all 4 games and get shit packs, the only saving grace is the draft token was free from a reward pack.

 

Also, the Futmas players, looking at the last few days, it looks like Fabinho might miss out, they have changed the middle player in the 3 of the leak each time since the leak got posted.

You suggested it existed or said it didn't?

 

It wasn't as pronounced on older Fifa's, I think Frostbite has meant we see the effect of it more, animations just break to allow something to happen that shouldn't etc.
