Generated some funds again by completely selling out what I am not using.

 

Might try a different team on the side of my prem team, something a bit different, maybe like an African hybrid team... Preferably not entirely made up of premier league players. (Though they may feature heavily! I still want it to be a good team :D happy to take informs too)

 

Any idea anyone? 4-1-2-1-2 ideally, but happy to start in a different formation and change at kick off.

Hmmm... what to do? Try and qualify for WL as I’m getting closer and this is the first week of the month. Or continue with Squad Battles and try and get Elite 1 as I’ve played and won all my games on Legendary so far this week. I don’t have enough time to do both

Sold a few players tonight (Griezmann, Ozil, Marcelo...) and upgraded Danny Rose to SIF Ashley Young, and then upgraded Herrera to Pogba. Skint now.

 

Got to the final of the Daily Knockout (again) and lost (again). This one annoyed me though. They had 0 shots on target to my 12. They parked the bus and played to win a penalty by dribbling repeatedly with 1 player at the edge of my box. They got a penalty which I saved, but the rebound shot hit my returning Ashley Young and into the net. What a great debut! 

 

Anyway, here’s my current team. I bring on Matuidi for Bakayoko, and then either Benzema for Lukaku or Dembele/Martial for Jesus depending on how I’m feeling.

I got 88 Icon Matthaus from one of the marquee match up packs I was saving!!!

 

Also got TOTGS Blind, and both Hummels and Marcelo back after selling them last night. That’s weird.

 

Now, do I stick Matthaus in my team, or sell him for 850k...

So I took your advice after playing 20 or so games with Matthaus at CB. He’d be a far better midfielder. So sold him and completed the rest of my Del Piero SBC 8-)

Have you tried Neymar? I move him to striker at the start and he's amazing. With Finisher (physical and shooting boost) he has +90 in every shooting stat, every pace stat and almost every dribbling stat, plus 5* weak foot and 5* skills. I know you like Mertens so I reckon you'd love him as he's similar.

I deleted Fifa on Friday, my first WL game went to extra time, I won 5-4, went through the screens after the game, was on the one where you get the coins and it pops up that I lost connection to my opponent.

 

i click that off and click x to continue and it says I lost connection to the EA servers, so it kicks me out to the Fifa front end.

 

i go back into ultimate team, it says nothing about quitting or disconnecting, but it’s given me a loss for a game I played through extra time in.

 

Anyway, I had 1.2mil coins, and in a lightning round yesterday I spent them all on 100k packs and got the grand sum of...

TOTGS Tosun.

 

Anyway that’s my ultimate team journey finished on 18.

I’m not crying about pack luck? I’m genuinely done with Fifa18, BAP isn’t coming back, I don’t even play Fifa with @Sladey19 when we’re together in the same room as the game just isn’t good.

 

I wasn’t crying about anything, the only thing I was moaning about was winning 5-4 in extra time and getting a loss.
