Important Information

#################

Please read the 1v1 League thread for a general outline of the league.

* The full rules can be found HERE. You must abide by these, so read them!

* You are responsible for arranging to play your home match.

* All match arrangements should be made via fixture notes on the website.

* If a match has not been played during the initial fixture week, it should be arranged and a note added to the fixture via the website to ensure the admin staff are aware of your arrangements. If a match passes the fixture week without being played and does not have a note attached it will be deemed a foul offence.

* You are free to play games early. Results added to the site will be automatically revealed on the fixture date. You should not post anything that might indicate the results before the fixture date (this includes match reports, hints etc). The rules lay out the repercussions for doing this.

* You should enter your results on the website. If you have issues with the website contact SaintM.

* You must use the latest squads for all rllmuk league games.

* You must use TACTICAL DEFENDING controls for all rllmuk league games. It's the default setting so don't panic if you haven't changed anything. The LEGACY DEFENDING control setting is not permitted.

* The use of CUSTOM FORMATIONS are not permitted either. Repercussions include a warning, points deductions and being removed from the league if you are found to have broken this rule.

Any changes to the league format or rules will be announced in the Steering Group thread.

* If you have a question regarding the rules, or any other aspect of the league please contact your admin or post in the

League Discussion & Feedback thread.

Most important of all, the main aim of this league is to have fun so lets keep it friendly and everyone will enjoy it!

I'm now full of ham... :)

And I'm full of Arse!

Looking forward to the season - I haven't really played the new game so I should be fairly easy fodder. Be good to have a reason to play it now tho'. Anyone fancy a few pre-season friendlies?

I think you're still the favourite. Harbey has done pretty well against me when weve played before so id think hell edge me with the stronger team, I'm also prone to a defensive gaff and AC and Monaco are good picks. It should be a good league.

Newcastle 3 - 1 arsenal

Loic remy and he's men got off to a shaky start with arsenal pushing hard for the first 20 mins until remy himself put the toon 1-0 up Newcastle then made it 2-0 just before the break ! After half time arsenal came out fighting to make it 2-1 until gouffran came off the bench and put it out of arsenals reach at 3-1

Arsenal 3 - 4 Newcastle

The second of the two games started totally different with papiss cisse chipping the keeper within 4 minutes , the game was really open with both teams on 3 each by the 80th minute. On the 87th minute loic remy dashed down the wing and played a fast paced ball across the 6 yard box with Kieran Gibbs passing it into his own net.

Well played Harbey CFTG!!

Bloody tough first fixtures here. Thought I was going to be ok with Newcastle starting very slow in the first and Arsenal missing a few good chances. Shalo got into the game with some excellent through balls and clever runs though and once ahead I was always chasing things.

In the second game I thought it was going to be an embarrassing score line as Newcastle came out firing on all four straight away. We were both playing attacking football though which left lots of space on the counter and I managed to claw back to 3-3 with only a few minutes left. Disaster struck though when my defence were left with no where to go other than into our own net.

A very gentlemanly performance Mr Shalo, and a pleasure to play against you. I doubt many will be able to match your skills this season - well played.

Nice to get the season started and I'm going to put in a bit of practice now. Good luck everyone!

Napoli make encouraging start

I started off well, scoring two quick goals with Hamsik and Higuain. Dave couldn't cope with my players flooding forward in the early stages in the game. Dave pushed down the wings hard, and with Drogba in the middle I knew I either had to stop the cross or get in front of Drog. Things changed when he pegged one back through Yilmaz, and then soon it was level at 2-2 with Yilmaz getting his second. I refocused and tried to take more time over my attacks, this tactic paid off and I managed to sneak a winner late on with Callejon.

Again I started quickly, and right off the bat I almost scored. A few minutes later a terrible throw from the Galatasaray keeper landed straight at the feet of Callejon who shot into the open net to open the scoring. Again Dave was trying to get dangerous crosses in and a few times he came very close to scoring. Deciding he was getting no luck from the wings, he started to play possession football in and around my box. This tactic paid off just before half time when Drogba found some space, shrugging off the defender and finishing powerfully to Pepe Reina's left. I had some chances to score a winner, but I failed to take them, overall a draw was a fair result.

This game started and was quite laggy but Pete managed to score before i dropped connection, a couple more attempts at getting it started and we were finally underway, i suggested we start the 90mins again with Pete 1-0 up but very fair he said it was abit laggy so just start from fresh, It was a very tight game with good chances at either end could have gone either way but ended in a draw.

With both sides still getting used to Fifa 14 this game was abit all over the place, pete took a well deserved 2-0 lead with a couple of headers before i scored late on to make it a nervy ending, But over all a well deserved 3 points for pete

Cheers for the games and the chat Pete, all the best with the rest of the season on here and of course with QPR :)

Great report mate but this fixture is not due to be played yet and whilst you can play them early, there are rules about releasing the results early http://www.rllmukforum.com/index.php?/topic/65155-official-league-rules/?p=8746307

Harbey 1 - 0 Greeny

A really open game with loads of chances. Amazing the score sheet was so low. Walcott came on in the second half and was unlucky not to score after a run taking in the whole length of the field.

Greeny 2 - 1 Harbey

A good start for Arsenal with an early goal but this just spurred Spurs in to a game of attacking football. Greeny threw men forward and was rewarded with an equaliser and a late winner. Arsenal were denied a goal of the season over head attempt by a man on the line but overall a fair result.

Good games mate. Evenly matched teams made for some tense action. Good luck with the season.
