KFC

Recommended Posts

I've only ever had KFC twice, the first time about 10 years ago while I was working away, and the last time was last week. It was really greasy, too much protein all in one go and too salty. Awful. It's only been open for a few weeks, so I suspect they aren't doing it right, but it was horrid.

Do any of the UK ones sell biscuits?

No. They also don't have ranch dressing, which has horrified everyone American I've told this to. It infuriates my wife. I don't understand how McDonald's can offer a huge range of pretty reasonable dip sauces but KFC can only offer pathetically small squeeze packs of ketchup and mayo (and look at you like your Lord Entitled of Entitleton if you dare to ask for any). Perhaps they disagree with sauce because they want people to fully appreciate how awful the chips are, unimproved by any actual flavour added via artificial means.

Zinger Tower burgers, the on-the-bone chicken portions, and the beans are my winners. Popcorn chicken is nice but I can't shake the idea that it's probably made in some horrific manner. The buns on the burgers are a bit cardboardy, use better bread KFC.

Christ I really want KFC now you absolute pack of bastards.

I'd probably ask for a KFC Bucket before the execution if I had been sentenced to death

prefer the McChicken sandwich to the Zinger, the Zinger = terrible heartburn

Yes but Zinger = chicken breast fillet, McChicken Sandwich = what is this i dont even

Never happened across them. When I lived in the States, the first time I went to a KFC and got biscuit and gravy I freaked out ! A fucking scone, with a white meaty sauce ?

Mate in Australia its pretty standard to get a little pot of mashed potato and gravy with your chicken. As well as chips and that.

Someone will probably come in and say "In america it is served with mashed potato and biscuits" but who cares this is my story from my life!

If Popeyes, or better yet Church's chicken ever made it over here, KFC would be dead.

Churche's biscuits are like fluffy angel pubes covered in butter and honey and Popeye's mashed potatoes and gravy, and dirty rice is what gives angels their wings. I don't know why more companies don't expand over here really.

If Popeyes....

I saw one in Hong Kong airport minutes after eating a massive plate of Chicken Rice. I did the whole, 'Shall I order or not, yeah, go-on, it's a one-off life time thing, nah, you'll feel like shit for the flight home, give it a miss, I'll just get a KFC when I get home" thing, and have regretted it ever since.

Nah bro that was when I was staying on Bondi beach. Where I am now I'm like 100 yards from one. I went last night at like 4am after casino. They had run out of everything but zinger burgers. Like no chips. No wings. No chicken.

Some guy said "what's KFC without the chicken... Just FC?". Guess he was drunk.
