RIP George Duke

I've barely scratched the surface of his work, and I'm still spoilt for choice with great songs to post. My favourite, and one of my favourite disco tracks ever from his 1979 "Master of the Game" LP.

I Want You For Myself

Loads of other great tracks just on that LP alone - Look What You Find, I Love You More (aka Daft Punk's Digital Love), not to mention his other albums like The Aura Will Prevail and Brazilian Love Affair. This tune is timeless.

Brazilian Sugar

Then there are all the collaborations and guest performances. This is my most recent discovery of his, a sweet solo on Aretha Franklin's 1982 album "Jump To It".

It's Just You Love (Piano solo by George Duke)
