Whilst we've had more chances, Tottenham have had 3 or 4 glorious opportunities - this could easily be 4-1 down and you couldn't really complain about it. Other than Lloris's couple of saves from TAA we haven't created many clear-cut opportunities and Salah has been kept quiet.

Probably a red but if you don’t give Kane a red then you shouldn't that. That was unnecessary and nasty but Kane could have ended Robertson's season.

It was red, no complaints. The problem is that Kane wasn't even VAR-checked. This league is utter bullshit.

Does anyone remember that bookies advert where Liverpool are beating Chelsea 1-0, and the ref runs up to head in the ball for 1-1 because he's got a bet on?

This is exactly the frustration - I'd take that as a red if Kane had been sent-off, but when he wasn't and that is it is maddening.

Also thought the Jota shove was a penalty, the Dele one wasn't. Before this game I thought Firmino would score, maybe he still will. But Liverpool should have won this. Man City are going to walk the league at this rate, only Torres to come back for them.

Kane has been a dirty player for years but still enjoys his nice classy guy perception of him in the media. Think he's yet to get a red card in the premier league? Stats say 30 yellows though. 74 fouls (just fouls, no offsides). 

 

You can see Robertson yell in fear as he sees Kane's boot storming in. 

 

I still think Allison has made more difference than Van Dijk. He pulled off great saves against Barcelona and numerous other times in the Champions league and today again everyone is blaming Dele for not scoring that chance when it's a far corner fine save. But he occassionly makes mistakes like the miscalculated slide. But there's never any sense of fragility when he's in net when that's all there was for years before he arrived.
