This isn't a foul according to the ref or linesman and not a red according to VAR.

I assume it’s because his foot deflected off the ball into Henderson’s leg but with the rules now on dangerous play it really should have been a red card,

Well yes, that's what going 'over the top' is and even though it's not deliberate, it is a lack of control. 

 

Anyway, we've looked really devoid of any ideas at the moment and the passing has been a bit lacking.
