I completely forgot about this game so on the BBC feed I saw we were winning, then drawing, then winning and the finally drawing again 

 

I said ages ago I felt this team looked gone and they've certainly been proving me right for the past 4 months. 

 

Good job that the last week has left me feeling pretty uninterested in football, else these past couple of games would be seriously annoying me.

If City win the League Cup Liverpool need to finish eighth to avoid Europe. The FA Cup European place will go to the league because both Chelsea and Leicester should qualify through the league.

Well, I wasn't expecting that, I know, not my thread... but actual congrats on that one, saw it going the other ay once or twice, today's been a good day for actual footbal matches!

It really could have if Allison wasn't on top of his game today. Southampton got through too easily a number of times but thankfully he was able to stop them from making the most of that.
