I don't think that's fair, has he even started 2 games in a row yet with the majority of the first eleven, or just played with the fringe team?

I don't know if he will step up or not, but he needs to have a proper chance at least.

33 mins per game this season over 9 games. He is talented, but he hasn't been given a decent run imo. Is he good enough for Liverpool? I'm not sure but I actually think he has the raw talent. His touch and movement are outstanding, but it's that final third.

I think it's got to be confidence.

Has Martin Tyler gone more than 2 minutes between attempts at manifesting a West Ham goal? It's verging on the ridiculous by now.

I pay £3.60 ish for Peacock and I swear they show more live games than Sky or BT. Well worth it, not just for the savings or the commentary of Lee Dixon and Arlo White (who aren't terrible) but also for the constant dramatic music during any recap.

I think Klopp should sign that Nat Philips he had another decent game.

When he’s played he’s been great! Even if he doesn’t make it for us I bet a team like Middlesbrough, Stoke or Burnley will buy him for about 40m

That's not right, he played the full 90 vs Crystal Palace for starters.

You in the UK? Do you use a VPN? Would be interested in getting this myself.

Yeah, I use my VPN from the UK, pay via PayPal and it works just fine. There's a good range of live games and they have full replays available afterwards if they don't show them live.

Peacock also has a free tier so you can mess about with it first and make sure your VPN plays nice with it. Also has Rugby Union, Indycar and probably other stuff that people want to watch.

In the league, sorry. That's his average.

Ah, okay. That's actually a bit higher than I thought then but still nowhere near enough to really get into some form. Well, I'm sure Klopp has his reasons.

Hopefully he stays fit.

I wonder if this means we'll see Fabinho slot back into midfield if he's fit for the City game?

I wouldn't get too excited about the Ben Davies signing signalling a big change in the defensive shape, he is coming from a decent run of form in the Championship to a team challenging toward the top of the Premier League.

Fabinho or Henderson will still have to play at the back and he'll probably be ahead of Williams and Phillips.

Yeah, feel like for certain games Davies will either play alongside Fabinho, or Fabinho and Henderson will still be the first-choice pairing. At least when Matip is available, the midfield will be back to full-strength.

Until then another senior CB available does mean there is the option to play one of Fab and Henderson in midfield, allowing Thiago move further forward. Oh my.

Been surprised teams haven’t attacked more while our defence has been weak but the second half today showed what happens when the team clicks going forward.

Kabak is getting a medical. Looks like he’s our main CB replacement with Davies being a cheap moneyball type transfer that FSG do love.  Definitely seems to me that Klopp doesn’t fancy Williams or Phillips.

Williams is too young and has been ok with the games he has come on but is inexperienced. Phillips so far to me as been pretty decent.

Gomez and Matip are always injured with van Dijk the only reliable starter before his injury. The new signings are a mixture of backup and adding experience to me with Phillips being the only player I think who will leave I the summer because I think his contract is up.

Twitter is great on days like today. Flights being tracked across Europe, sightings of players going for medicals, omg a player we’ve been linked with liked one of Andy Robertson’s Instagram posts...

Lovely stuff.
