Thinking on a bit more, the team being so brilliant up until recently no doubt also eases frustrations. Imagine if 19 hadn’t been won, and then having this wide-open season unfold. It’d be like RAWK in here!

Seriously though, think everyone has been pretty realistic. Enjoy reading the thoughts, reactions and having somewhere that’s a bit of escapism to be honest. Up the tricky Reds.

PS - new prediction: next goal will be disallowed by VAR :)

Didn’t realise the Spurs game is Thursday, thought it was next Sunday (nope, that’ll be West Ham away)

As a result guess it’ll be a pretty strong first XI but possibly one of the usual front three on the bench. Would like to see Robertson get a rest to be honest. He’s been outstanding for much of the season but has looked a little spent the last couple of games.

No doubt Klopp will play someone who gets injured and Liverpool Twitter will act like players are immune from injury except in games where they perceive they shouldn’t have played.

Central defence should be rested today, Fabinho has played loads recently and Matip can't handle anything more than a game a week without breaking.

The game is horrible, it's the FA Cup and there is a big Premier League game in a few days. But it's United. Not sure how I'd approach it as manager.

It’s difficult. Playing any other team bar maybe Everton and no one would be too arsed if a second string turned out. As it happens, pretty much a first team plays, and we have to hope they at least score to buck a bad run of form in front of goal. A meek defeat like the other night and the pressure for the Spurs game starts getting ridiculous.

This week is huge. As much as Klopp as realised our dreams, will they look at his final season with Dortmund and do the numbers? Henry is partt of a group with a baseball background and will have a deep insight as to what is happening with those numbers.

I for one am not suggesting Klopp is anywhere near being sacked, but a poor result here and on Thursday to Spurs and that pressure will start to mount. Especially if the performances lack.

After two and half years of being at the very limit and the unknown of a pandemic. we can easily forgive this run, but should it continue, genuine questions will need to be asked.

So big performance and result today and use that to kick on.

We MUST score, because when we do a huge weight will lift from the team's shoulders. Hoping for an early goal that opens floodgates, because I would take beating them 9-0 even if it came with a guarantee that we don't win the Premiership or Champion's League.

What? Of course they won't, Klopp has earned whatever happens this season, even ignoring how tough it has been for every team due to the circumstances of it. Unless we finished mid-table or something then he'll be fine.

I think noise might start if Gerrard does romp to the SPL title and our poor form continues though. It would be stupid - it's too early for him - but the press will roll into gear, I'm sure.

Great to have actually scored but been second best for most of a half in which neither team has been particularly impressive.

Luke Shaw being the best player on the pitch says pretty much everything.

That was my point, pressure will be external in the whole, but FSG will be well aware of what needs to be done.

They won't react quickly but they will be making plans should it be needed. Look at how they took the decision with Rodgers to bring in Klopp. It is making the big decisions at the right time for them.

Anyway I am over thinking sorry.

I don't think they really react to external pressure though, else we'd have bought about 11 CBs given all the noise made about it since VVD got injured

Anyway, Man Utd looking far more dangerous and it feels inevitable. They are actually playing like we did last season. Did Henderson actually have a save to make in the half? (I missed the first 20 minutes.)
