Zero creativity in midfield. Salah has been atrocious. It was a no-win situation before the game but to make ourselves a complete laughing stock by half time is genuinely quite impressive.

Too many crosses. I think teams are flooding the middle, giving us crosses and beating us in the air. 

 

They need to be pinpoint to get a good chance now.

 

I know that was offside but going through then rather than flanking created something at least.

Biggest eight days of the season coming up. No game but it’s the longest Klopp, Lijnders and the rest of our coaching staff will have with access to the players at the training ground since the brief pre-season.

Thiago is going to be like a cheat code for the rest of the season. He and Shaqiri do things that aren't just more crosses. And since it looks like we're just going to be facing buses, they'll both be needed.

Just been reading up on how well Harvey Elliott's doing at Blackburn. 18 appearances, 4 goals, 7 assists and second in the whole division for key passes completed. What a talented young man. Still 17 years old!
