So much of football chat (and politics discourse) is just reacting to perceived unfair criticism, back and forth again and again. Whether it be moaning about fans in stadiums or VAR decisions favouring teams, it's really the lowest crap. 

Nicely put and you'd probably be right in most cases but to be perfectly honest I heard it on the radio and that was my first thought.  Really not bothered, probably shouldn't have wasted my time even writing about it but I had 5 mins and wondered if I was the only one who thought it.

 

You say someone bringing it up isn't worth engaging with but it's the sort of shit that gets brought up in the main thread all the time.
